Firebend

Firebend is a prominent trading outpost in the northeastern part of Estana, and even The Collapse didn't change that. In fact its position may be what saved it, but it's also what makes the city so dangerous now as many of its neighbors push to take it over.

To this end the city's leadership knows they have to have a strong military presence and the power to predict what's coming - which means it is home to one of the largest standing armies of the continent as well as the Astrologian's Guild. Knowing that the Astrologians can be helpful, Firebend made sure they were an appealing place to have their headquarters. And it's worked, as the Astrologians have saved the city time after time with their predictions and early warnings.

Now in the wake of the Collapse the city is thriving, holding its own, and is a trade hub to the rest of the nation.
