Firebend

Druids are those with respect for nature; from flora to fauna, they dedicate themselves to the study and understanding for the natural world around them. This usually leads them to isolation far from civilization with a belief that concentrations of people and their buildings corrupts the very nature they love.

In Firebend, however, a group of them sprung up in the form of a guild. Their aim is to study how nature responds to the encroachment of society, and they find beauty in plants growing outside of their carefully curated boundaries, in how animals respond to having to cohabitate with humanity. They study the edges of the city to see how nature responds to it, and in how it reclaims abandoned buildings.

When they were asked to help head the city in the wake of The Collapse they agreed, knowing that having more of a say in how the city runs would be beneficial to them and give them more leeway in their studies.
