Aura's parents had high hopes for her when she was born, only for those dreams to be shattered when their child held the telltale signs of being a changeling. Not wanting to care for her they left her on the steps of one of Kamaria many churches, leaving her to be raised by the clergy.

Aura grew up learning to fear her power instead of embracing it, which lead to a lot of internalized emotions about how it was her fault her parents abandoned her and people treated her poorly for being what she was. Eventually she left the church, making her way to Firebend looking to get away and make a new life for herself.

It was there that she found the Warrior's Guild and joined up, learning how to fight and how to lead. The guild never hated her for her powers and she learned to use and harness them as well. In time she became head of the guild, and when asked to join up and help out with running the city Aura happily said yes.
