The Scorched Flats

On the northeastern part of Estana, separating Firebend from the rest of the continent sits an area known as the Scorched Flats. It was called this well before The Collapse, but it lives up to the name well afterwards as well as the area became even harsher after the events.

There are several nomadic tribes that have called the area home, and in the years since the Collapse they've made due with the changes to their environments. Those looking to cross from Firebend to other areas of Estana are advised to find either members of these groups or others who know their way through the desert as the area is rife with hidden dangers that can easily kill those not prepared.
