Born in Firebend and then abandoned shortly thereafter, the Rogue's Guild took Cannon in and gave him his name. He was raised communally in their halls, knowing that any adult who worked for the guild was someone he could go to if he needed help.

For a while in his teens Cannon sailed, enjoying life abroad on a ship, but eventually he wanted to return to his home and help the guild that raised him so he in turn could help others. Eventually he found himself leading the guild after his predecessor was invited to have the guild be part of the leadership in Firebend, putting Cannon in a political position he wasn't exactly equipped for but he's doing his best to learn and do right by the guild and its members while he's at it.
