Born and raised in Firebend, the city being a port meant that becoming a sailor was what most chose to do if they didn't affiliate themselves with one of the guilds. Being tied down to one place, stuck and unable to travel or only able to do so with permission from others was not something that sounded appealing to her in the least bit so she worked hard and bought The Leviathan, a rather decrepit ship at the time.

With plenty of love, care, repairs and upgrades the ship became workable and Isabella assembled a crew before heading off. While the crew is mostly rotating workers from port to port as long as they can do the job she doesn't care and she enjoys living a life on the open sea.
