Lisbet's parents met studying the ways of the Astrologian and always expected she would do the same. For a while she was fine with that, but things were complicated; Lisbet's parents were always adamant about burying any mistakes or failures and keeping up the appearance of being perfect at all times.

On the other hand Lisbet didn't seem to inherit that quality, and saw things not going as planned as a chance to learn, to grow, to become better. She never denied when she messed up, but instead explained why it had failed and what she learned from it. This led to more than one fight between her and her parents, and like with so many when The Collapse hit Lisbet took the opportunity to head out to Firebend where she heard they were gathering Astrologians to create a formal guild of them. With her training she quickly proved she was capable of leading the guild and was appointed the position, which she's held ever since.
