Born in Firebend and raised by parents who were part of the Monk's Guild, Action was always expected to remain part of them. But The Collapse hit when she was little, and instead Action grew up seeing the aftermath of that disaster. When people from The Mage Hunters started spreading rumors through Firebend that mages were responsible for the whole thing, something in those messages stuck with her. So she made her way to Bauller's Gae to join The Order of the Blue Rose instead, thinking that they would be a bit of a better fit for her.

When Rose took over she asked Action to take the seat of one of the Order's masters, and the tabaxi woman quickly said yes. No one else seems quite sure what her motivations are, but Rose trusts her and that's enough for them for now.
