The Adventurer's Guild is a group dedicated to organizing the various adventurers in the world. In the wake of The Collapse they grew ever stronger, a way to vet and track those looking to help while the world was still raw from everything that happened.

Now they are prominent, and those looking to do more than menial or manual labor need to get into the guild to do anything with themselves. Governments put up with them because their leadership (mysterious though they are) is very good about making sure the members are behaving themselves. Those who use their status to swindle or do more harm than good find themselves quickly dealt with, and those who do good works find themselves in possession of fame and fortune provided by the guild.

No one knows where their money comes from, but so long as the guild is a driving force of good in the world no one questions them.
