When Chiaki was born Stormbell and Kamaria were sister cities, both flourishing. Being born aasimar she was considered an emissary of the gods, and the people of Stormbell expected much of her. However she failed to live up to those expectations, and as soon as another was born that the people put their hopes onto she was discarded - even by her own parents.

Angry at the world for putting her in that position Chiaki vowed to have her revenge. She made her way up to Hem Lodir and found someone willing to train her in combat. She took beatings and got back up and put everything she had into becoming the ultimate killing machine; just in time for The Collapse to happen and do the job she'd been training a lifetime for.

Lost now that the focus of her vengeance was gone Chiaki can do little but wander and put her skills to use as an outside contractor; someone people hire when they don't want the likes of The Adventurer's Guild snooping into their business.
