Jericho

The Moon Devil

Jericho was born to a mother who belonged to a cult that wanted to resurrect their deity - a great devil that once challenged the God of the Moon and tried to take over that domain. Having overestimated his power the devil was sundered, but his faithful never waivered. Born under a lunar eclipse, the cult saw fit to sacrifice the newborn to resurrect this devil and they succeeded.

Unfortunately things wouldn't last. The cult was found and destroyed, though Jericho and his mother escaped into the wilds of Asnuale and began to rebuild. When Jericho finally came into his full power that place was destroyed, and he then made his way to Mor Rhoding to begin building again.

There were plenty of locals willing to make 'sacrifices' to what they viewed as a god in exchange for his power, and he gave it to them as a patron in exchange. Many women bore children for him, willing or otherwise, and he intended to build an army from them - an effort thwarted by a combination effort from The Crystal River Academy and then then fledgling The Adventurer's Guild. Though many of the women and their children were rescued, a good number fled and Jericho once again made his escape.

The Moon Devil hasn't been heard from since, though anyone who knew back then still keeps an eye out now because they know it's not likely he will stay quiet forever.
