Aetheria was born and raised in the feywilds, and over time rose to power within the various fae realms and was proud of herself for how she did it - no sleeping her way to the top, and minimal screwing over those around her. This ensured that her power could not be taken from her easily; no favors owed for using sex to get promotions, and the people around her were loyal because they knew they would not be betrayed unless there was literally no other option on Aetheria's end.

Despite all of this, the fae found herself attracted to the Lord of the Hunt. After serving in the Wilde Hunt and raising herself to be one of his best generals they fell in love and she gave birth to four beautiful children. As the offspring of a Fae Lord there was much expected of them, and that was fine until The Collapse happened on the material plane and the oldest of the children Faethyra left the feywild to aid in recovery efforts.

Faethyra took over The Adventurer's Guild in order to help, and her family never forgave her. Her sisters feel abandoned, and Aetheria feels her power slipping as the Lord of the Hunt is deeply disappointed one of his own would leave the feywild to help elsewhere - especially as Faethyra had the most useful powers.
