Born as the oldest child of a tailor in Euria's capital city of Bellmare, Noelle lived a happy early life alongside her father and her mother Samantha, as well as her younger brother Coryn, who was born when Noelle was 4 years old, and younger sister Annelie, who was born when she was 8.

However, Noelle's peaceful life was shattered not long after her younger sister’s birth, when a Duskwing Syndicate Subjugation invaded Bellmare in an attempt to seize it. Her father died trying to protect them, and to make things worse their shop was burned down in the chaos. With nowhere else to go, the family was forced to flee into the slums, where they fell into poverty. They soon became so destitute that Noelle resorted to scavenging to survive. Before long, she knew her way in and out of the streets and would spend her days scavenging in dumpsters for anything worth selling, resorting to stealing when things got dire – a routine she continues to this day. Due to her circumstances, she has become deeply determined to help and protect her siblings and mother, even if it means potentially sabotaging others to ensure her family’s safety and well-being.
