Janus grew up with his family in a town in Gaelen, where they ran a small business. Janus was destined to take over while his younger brother studied to attend a university in the city. However, that changed when Renee came searching for a Champion, ultimately choosing Janus. As such, his brother gave up his chance for a bright future in order to support the family. Janus is deeply grateful for his younger brother's sacrifice and has made it his goal to support his brother’s dream however he can.
