History - What is The Augmented’s history?

In this universe, there are multiple planets that hold human life, although none have been discovered as of yet. After the destruction of one of these planets, the debris hits earth, introducing them to an alien DNA they hadn't come across yet. It's similar to humans, almost 90% exactly. The other 10% is mutations that haven't been seen before.
