This isn't something that happened to me, but im friends with people involved in this and it makes me a bit upset

There's a person I'm in a bunch of classes with and all he wants is friends but he tries to make them, people get the wrong idea and treat him like shit

Like he was dating someone, we'll call them X and so he said he thought it was going good, X broke up and told him she didnt feel like it was going well, he understood and said "okay, we can just be friends"

so then he ran into someone at the mall and that person told him that X said something behind his back about him that even I don't know what she said, the guy was really badly affected by it though

So then one of my other friends I'll call B is like his messenger bird, basically B just talks to X and texts the guy who we'll call C what X is saying. So one day B confronts X and asks X why she broke up and X said "he was being a creep, talking to me about other guys im interested in"

like……..

We've have problems with X before FYI, but this is the first time in a while that she's done something like this
like I know people can get the wrong idea of something but did you really need to talk crap behind his back??? like maybe you could've told him you felt uncomfortable or tried to sort it out first before you did that??

Stuff like this upsets me, even though it doesn't happen to me.
