Don’t you just love it when you’re trying to record a speedpaint and two hours in your brand new, barely used, plugged in, fully charged laptop just says “screw it” and shuts down, refuses to turn on again for the next ten minutes, and then corrupts your video file.

…I guess the speedpaint just won’t include the line art process

UPDATE: I was able to salvage the video
My photo references have disappeared with no way of finding them again
But the drawing, my computer, and the video are all safe

Nope.

I had found all three of them from a Chinese knock off of Pinterest (it helps me find reference pictures that haven’t already been drawn by every artist on Instagram ever) and only saved the most important one, which I still have, thank goodness.
I don’t have an account on this knock off since everything’s in Chinese, so the images that show up are completely random.
If I open the tab again from my history I just get a new set of images

It feels really hot to the touch so I think it’s turning itself off maybe as an emergency thing to prevent overheating, but I don’t know, I have about as much computer knowledge as the rock in my closet

If it can apparently run massive video games with hyper speed for hours on end it should be able to run a free art program, 5 google tabs, and a screen recorder for longer than 50 minutes-

Sometimes they got hotter while they're on the charger, so I would charge it, unplug it, and wait for it to cool before you try again
