Hateno Village
A Hylian farming town in Necluda that was one of the only settlements to survive the Calamity.
The town is run by the mayor whom believes himself to be apolitical. Typically, the citizens are Traditionalist being a farming town where the gender roles are rigid and clear and only deviate in a few scarce instances. The judge, however, has Progressivist leanings.
Hyrulean law is upheld by the mayor and the town's court judge.
Before 100 E.A.
Hateno Village was founded sometime before the Calamity, and is famous for being the only Hylian settlement that survived thanks to Link's bravery and determination to protect the princess. Although he almost fell that day, Link managed to hold off the attacking Guardians long enough for Zelda to eventually defeat them, allowing for the town's survival.
