Due to his constant study, he seems to have an answer for everything.

Erik was born in Dublin County, Ireland, in 1997 to a doting mother and father. Their only child, the two parents treasured their little boy and were known to spoil him; but for good reason (his mother experienced two miscarriages before he was finally born). A middle class family, Erik lived an average if not privileged life under his two parents. Despite being doted on and spoiled, he never asked for much and usually kept to himself. A shy young boy, Erik spent most of his childhood wanting to learn and explore the world around him. He almost immediately developed a love for reading; carrying a book with him everywhere he went. In primary school he was considered the "biggest nerd"; wearing wide rimmed glasses and always having his nose in a book. He would occasionally be bullied for this but he endured...for learning was just something he enjoyed doing and felt even at a young age the jests against him were quite stupid.
Erik flew through his classes, being the A+ student in every class (well, except P.E.). Primary school just seemed to be a hobby of sorts for him. His teachers doted on him.
As Erik aged he became more well-liked by his peers, even as he continued to be shy and introverted. He flew through high school and the kids loved him...the biggest nerd became well loved and even respected. Many kids would beg him for being tutored. He even found himself making a few friends.
At seventeen Erik was given a scholarship to attend Oxford, a huge achievement Erik had been reaching for his whole life. He attended and found himself at home, finding a huge interest in political study. Although he himself wasn't fond of politics, he found them interesting and wanted to put himself in it to possible change the system around.
During his fourth year, he was approached by an associate of MI6 whom had noticed his talents and rising through the ranks, and asked if he would like to pursue a career there. Erik was more than fascinated by this offer, always questioning himself as to what went on in that giant building. His parents worried for his safety, but he assured them that this was something he felt like he wanted and needed. He met the big man Jopling Gustave (better known as M) and became a personal assistant for him for a short while. Not long after he arrived the current MI6 Quartermaster had decided to retire...leaving the space open. Erik immediately volunteered, and he was accepted. He is considered one of the best (and youngest) Quartermasters to hold the position. Since then, he has provided MI6 agents with top information, weaponry, and transportation. He became a friend to the new agent known as Burke James, alongside Dominic Tyto and Moira Simmons. He supplies Burke and Dominic with the equipment they need to survive during their travels, and supplies Moira, his best friend, plentiful gossip. As he joined MI6 his confidence level has boosted and he has become more social, if not occasionally awkward and shy.
He remains very close to his parents, who moved from Ireland to London to be closer to him. Although he lives in his own apartment, he often stays with his parents to feel closer to home.
