@gracehustle

She laughed lightly and looked over at the puppy with a smile, "Did you make any progress?" Nodding towards the can, she glanced up at Jay, "That whole thing is for you two, you earned it.'

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jay smiled. "Thanks." he took the can, and served Leo some of it, then began to eat. "We made progress, yeah, but it's gonna take a while for it to be anything good."

@gracehustle

"What did you start teaching him?" She asked, moving her pack out of the way and stretching out so she was laying flat and watching the sky.

@gracehustle

Delia nodded, looking over at him and smiling, "I have a feeling you didn't get very far in teaching? Leo seems to agree with me." She glanced at the puppy, tail wagging as he padded over, puppy eyes in full gear and probaby hoping she had more food.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He shook his head. "No, not at all. He didn't want to stay, for one thing. And fetching…" he shook his head. "He fetched, but he also chewed the stick into five pieces."

@gracehustle

"Naughty puppy, you can't destroy the training supplies," She said with a laugh, "Did you at least bring the stick back before chewing it up Leo?" Leo's tail just wagged harder and he pawed at her arm, getting her to reluctantly start to pet him as he decided to step onto her and just about squish all the air out of her lungs.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Yes, he brought it back, but then refused to drop it, and chewed so hard that it broke." Jay explained, finishing up his food and setting the can aside.

@gracehustle

Deli laughed after pushing the puppy paw off her chest, shaking her head, "That's not good, at least he knows how to fetch though." Leo didn't like her pushing his paw off her chest and he whined before laying down next to her and resting his head on her stomach instead.

@gracehustle

"You'll get the hang of it eventually, won't you Leo?" She asked the puppy jokingly, his tail wagging when she scratched behind his ears, "You just have to learn to listen better."

@gracehustle

Delia closed her eyes and sighed, happy that it was still pretty early in the day. It was nice out and she could lay in the sun for the first time in forever, which also made her very happy.

@gracehustle

"Can we stay here today?" She asked gently, opening one eye and glancing over at Jay as he pet Leo. She really didn't want to get up, and one day of a break didn't sound bad.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jay blinked, and nodded slowly. "Hmm. Sure." he replied. "We just have to be careful." he looked around for a moment, before returning his attention to her.

@gracehustle

Deila sat up, or at least propped herself up at that response, looking over at him, "Can you still sense if there are..others like you around?" She didn't think anyone would be following them, but if there was then his gift would be the one thing deciding if they should run or try to fight it off.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jay looked at her. "Yes, but there aren't any near that I can sense." he replied after a moment, looking down at his hands, then at the woods. He didn't like talking about what he was.

@gracehustle

She nodded, slowly laying back down on her pack and sighing softly. Bringing up Jay's identity wasn't something she wanted to be reminded of, even if she knew it would come into play someday. "Alright..I'm going to take a nap then, if you don't mind." Delia said, looking over at him and then at Leo at her side, "Wake me up if anything happens."

@gracehustle

Delia smiled gently at him and settled down, laying one arm over her eyes to block out the light and letting the other rest on Leo's back even as he got impatient without being pet and decided to walk over to Jay instead.

@gracehustle

She tossed and turned for a few minutes as she tried to sleep, finally falling into a light slumber that she would wake up from at any decently loud noise. It was peaceful in the woods, especially with the few birds chirping in the trees.
