By the time the sun rose, Delia couldn't keep her eyes open for long, nodding off for a few seconds and waking up for another few minutes before the process repeated. She wanted to sleep for another seven hours, and she could feel her arms rubbed raw from the crutches as they rubbed against her clothes. It was painful, but she just bit her lip and kept her complaining in, watching the sun as it broke over the treeline in a pretty sunrise.

@gracehustle

She considered waking Jay up for a moment, then decided against it as she painfully got herself to her feet and grabbed her crutches. He could use the sleep, and she almost wanted the quiet as she tried to listen for any sound of running water around them.

@gracehustle

Walking hurt as her clothes rubbed against the already raw skin of her shoulder and arm, but she did anyway, on the lookout for more wood to bring back as well as any food or source of water nearby.

(I'm so sorry it's taking me so long to respond, life has gotten crazy lately, with track and finals, I promise I'll try to be more consistent after friday (That's when finals are))
Delia found herself wandering further into the woods, not sure where she was going but knowing she was looking for a source of water. At least she had her gun with her, that way maybe she could defend herself.

By now the only sign of Delia was her walking, though even as loud as it was, it was growing quieter with each step she took away from their camp.

@gracehustle

The woods was quiet without Leo or Jay walking beside her, even with her noisy mess that could be passed as walking. It seemed almost too quiet and she decided to just turn around, though when she did so, she soon concluded that she was hopelessly lost. There was no clear trail back the way she came, and no sign of anything she could remember as landmarks to get back.

Jay looked around for Delia, frowning a little bit when he didn't see her. "Delia?" he called sleepily, standing up and letting out a slow breath.

@gracehustle

"Shit.." She said softly, clearly already panicking as she looked around. Her eyes flicked back and forth and she asked, "Jay?" Delia hated this, and her anxiousness and worry were skyrocketing as she guessed which way she had came from and started out slowly, listening to Jay in case he had woken up already.

@gracehustle

She walked along her guessed path towards where she thought their camp was, chewing on her lip and calling out a louder, "Jay? Where are you?" Her heart rate was already increasing as she tried to not panic, trying to think her way through the situation like she normally did. This was different though and she knew it wouldn't be long before she would be yelling for Jay even though it would definitely be a signal to anyone following them as to where they were.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Delia!" He called out again, glancing at Leo before deciding that the pup was too young, and wouldn't be any help in trying to locate the missing young woman.

@gracehustle

Delia heard nothing in return to her question and she sped up her pace, hoping the noise she made with her walking would maybe help Jay find her if he was awake. "Jay?" She called out, now almost shouting as she walked around.

@gracehustle

"Jay!" She yelled, her pace slowing as she panicked even more. Soon she had just stopped, leaning against a large tree and trying to calm her racing heart and the panic that was setting in.
