"Is there a lot in this area?" She asked, curious as to why Blythe would mention that information. Leo finally decided to walk alongside the group, trotting along between Jay and Blythe.

@gracehustle

Delia nodded, "The one on the base. I guess that counts." She looked around for the main road that they had been following before, wondering if Jay was going to lead them back to it so they could walk on there.

@gracehustle

She nodded in response again and went silent, watching as Leo finally got bored of walking between Jay and Blythe and came back to walk alongside her, his tail wagging happily.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jay led them back out onto the road. Blythe frowned. "Why are we walking on the road? It'll make us walking targets."

Jay looked over at Delia for a moment. "Her leg's busted. The road is easier."

@gracehustle

"You guys could walk in the woods alongside the road, that way only I'm the walking target," Delia suggested, looking over at the two of them. It was much easier to walk along the smooth surface, she didn't have to worry about tripping as much or falling over, "I can handle walking by myself, I'm not defenseless."

@gracehustle

She nodded, then motioned over at Blythe with her head, "She's not wrong with saying it makes us more of a walking target though." Delia settled into a rhythm as she got used to walking on the road again, now only having to look out for abandoned cars, not trees and rocks.

@gracehustle

"Remember this thing about me finding a way to get onto that ship in the sky and saving you from going haywire?" She replied, looking over at him as she walked, "So no more saying everyone is safer without you. I would be dead three times over if you were dead."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jay blinked. "But everyone would be safer without me and the others like me."

"What, so you think we should all die?" Blythe sniped at him, frowning.

@gracehustle

"You think I would be safer without you? Busted leg and all?" She asked, glancing between him and the road to make sure the path was clear, "And as Blythe said, you think everyone like you and her should die?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jay shrugged a little bit. "I mean…yeah. In the end, you will be safer without me." he shook his head a little bit, running his hands through his hair.

@gracehustle

Delia just rolled her eyes, looking over at him to make sure he saw the look on her face, "You don't know that for sure. I'll find a way to get rid of the psyco thing in your head, that way you can stop saying and thinking that."

@gracehustle

She didn't answer, just looked over at Blythe with a look that said, 'this is a normal thing he does'. Leo trotted alongside them and the road continued on, though in the distance there were some buildings. It was hard to tell if they were just an abandoned house or if it was the start of a town though.

@gracehustle

"At least one of you two doesn't want to die," Delia said, nodding as they walked, "That's a start to getting rid of the 'I'm better off dead' mentality." She squinted as the buildings started to come closer, deciding that it looked like a farm and farmhouse. Maybe it would be a good place to stop for the night.

@gracehustle

"You were implying it, Jay." She sighed, looking over at him for a minute but not continuing the sentence. Instead, she just went back to focusing on walking, finding herself counting the steps as they went along.

@gracehustle

Counting steps got boring after a few minutes, and so she switched to counting the dashes on the road, waiting for one of the other two to notice the farm up ahead of them. At least that way there could be a group decision on stopping or not.

@gracehustle

"We can scare them off if there are people in there, you two alone are a terrifying sight," Delia suggested a flash of a grin at her joke.
