"No." He replied simply. "I could dye it and shave it, I suppose." He shrugged his shoulders.
"No." He replied simply. "I could dye it and shave it, I suppose." He shrugged his shoulders.
"Double the disguise, yeah. We could get both of those when we go back to the store… again." Mycah sighed in defeat. It was probably better if they just accepted that they were going to be going to the store way more than they wanted to.
Winter nodded, sighing and shaking his head a little bit. "Fuck. I'll have to get makeup, too, to pencil my eyebrows. Otherwise it won't match."
"Heh. This is turning into a full-blown makeover after all." Mycah, despite themself, let out a small laugh. "If we've figured out everything we need, should we go get it now?" They asked.
He laughed a little bit. "Yeah. Let's write it down first though, alright?" he replied, looking at Mycah. "That way we won't forget anything."
"Good idea." Mycah picked up the pad of paper and the pen, quickly writing down the stuff. "Razor and hair dye, right? Oh, and makeup for your eyebrows." They looked up at Winter. "Anything else?"
Winter nodded. "Yeah. Eyebrow pencil, not makeup."he replied. "And…what are you planning on getting?" he asked.
Mycah rewrote the item on the list and frowned. "I dunno. I was just planning on using a knife or something to cut my hair, so…" They shrugged. "I guess I could use the razor too. You recommend anything?"
"Alright. And…I don't know. How you cut it is up to you." he replied with a shrug, glancing at the door for a moment.
"Okay. Let's go, then. Hopefully, for the last time." Mycah started towards the door, then paused. "Should we disguise ourselves to go out?" They looked at Winter questioningly. "Do you think anyone here is looking for us?"
Winter bit his lip. "I…don't know." he replied slowly. "I think we should just be careful." he shrugged his shoulders a little bit.
"That I agree with." Mycah nodded and opened the door. They held it for Winter, then started towards the street. Although there wasn't anyone around, Mycah still felt like they were being watched.
Winter walked with Mycah, eyes flashing around the streets to keep an eye out for anyone that might recognize them.
Knowing that people might be looking for them made Mycah so much jumpier than they usually were. They kept glancing around, though they were glad Winter was doing the same thing.
Winter walked with Mycah, frowning a little bit.
Mycah turned onto the main street, mostly keeping their eyes down to avoid eye contact. Their pace was quick since getting in and out fast was the best option.
Winter kept pace with Mycah, eyes flashing around. He didn't make eye contact, but kept a wary watch out.
Mycah kept walking, every step bringing them closer to the store. They hoped it wouldn't be too crowded– all those people, looking at them and Winter, wouldn't be very good for their mental state.
Winter took a deep breath, steadying himself as they approached the store. He didn't speak, though, not wanting to stress the other out too much.
Mycah walked through the doors of the grocery store, feeling slightly relieved at the small number of people in the store. They scanned the aisles, looking for the one that would have hair dye.
Winter ran a hand through his hair, looking around. He located the dye, and gestured mycah over. "Pick a color."
"Me? Do you not care what color your hair is?" Mycah asked, giving Winter a slightly confused look. "If you don't, then… that one." They pointed to a box with a generic-looking brown color.
"Oh– sorry, I thought you were dying yours too, my apologies." he replied, shaking his head.
"Oh, no, you're good." Mycah gave a short laugh. "I think cutting it would just be fine for now. Black is such a boring color anyways." They shrugged, then glanced around the aisle quickly.
Winter nodded, smiling a little. He grabbed a dark brown, tucking it under his arm, and then grabbed an electric razor. "Got everything I need."
