Jade shook her head. ”I don't know about your reasoning behind ”the because you're a villain” part but…” she looked up at him and smirked. ”What if you didn't go as Hex and used a different ”costume”?”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian shook his head. "Sometimes, to make people talk, you need to be a bit of a bully. I have…a reputation. Trust me. It'll be better if I do it, as Hex." He replied. Something dark flashed in his green eyes for a moment, then was gone again.

Jade tilted her head slightly at the look in his eyes before she sighed. “Killian, this man was… is a trained soldier; he’s not going to be bullied easily. He was probably trained to not give information under duress.” she reminded him. ”But… he might be even more likely to help a member of the local P.D. or CIA.” she suggested a little mischievously.

Killian shook his head slightly. "I'm not dressing up as a cop. CIA would be…interesting, but…" He shrugged. "I don't know. I think I could get the information as myself, too."

”I'm sure you could.” Jade agreed, nodding hesitantly. ”But what excuse could you give for Hex to ”randomly attack” someone? Because that's what people will see.” she explained in a calm voice though her eyes held a bit of worry. ”I know you have your own methods but I want to hear what he does during and after the questions.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

"See, that's the thing. I don't need an excuse, because I won't need to explain myself. If people see it as random…so what? I'm already a villain." He gave a crooked smile.

Killian shrugged. "I'll be fine." He replied. "Don't worry about me." He gave her a grin. "Besides, I can wear a wire or something, if you want me to."

Jade bit her lip hard, but not enough to draw blood, as she held back saying that she would worry anyway before looking at him. ”I really wish you would try my detective plan. It’s not really a wire. It’s more of a bug.” she explained with a sigh as she relented to his plan as she picked up what looked like a very small piece of metal. ”You just need to carry it in and I can see and hear everything. I can control it from here.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

"I don't want to do the detective plan." he replied a little sulkily. "And alright." he took the metal, looking at it curiously. "Is this the bug? It's tiny!" he grinned, setting it on his collar. "Wait…can it cling on or attach somehow?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian chuckled, and nodded. "Mm. I'll take the board." he studied the address, then grabbed the board, putting the bracelet back on. "So. If you have a question you want me to ask, how are you going to tell me?"

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

”Here.” Jade stood up and handed him what looked like an earplug for traveling. ”I don't think I need to tell you how to use it.” she smirked slightly, still nervous about this plan. ”Just be careful.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

He chuckled, putting it on, and nodding. "I'll be fine." he replied, turning the hover board on and getting on it. "Trust me." he zipped out of the room fast as a blink, the board moving quickly as he steered through the streets, headed towards the address she had given him.

Jade sighed and wondered if letting him do this counted as criminal activity on her part. She walked back to her desk and activated the earpiece and turned on the bug. ”Enjoying the ride?” she said into the microphone.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Laughter greeted her. "Uhm, duh." came Killian's laughing response. "I'll be there in a few minutes." he kept piloting the hover board through the streets, headed towards the apartment she had told him about.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"It's magic, Jade." Killian replied, then nodded. "Alright. No more talking, then. It's hard to intimidate someone while also talking to someone else."
