I got a Hamilton book! Like for piano, so I can play it! But they made all the melodies for Soprano and I am Alto 2, so :[

oh my FUCKING god. parents are so fucking annoying sometimes.

I feel like I can't even vent about it because everyone is just gonna joke about how I'm that edgy teenage guy who says "I hate my mom >:(" or whatever. but still.

No like they took Burr's part for "Dear Theodosia", which I can usually sing with zero (0) problems, and they made it soprano, so now I can't sing it and I am angery

Oof. I wish I could have sung Tenor. My vocal range could do it, I can sing all the way down to a low C

I’m a relatively high soprano but I have the weakest, quietest voice that usually only sounds good as backup, yet sopranos in my church choir always get the spotlight
basically I could stop singing and no one would notice

I have a pretty good range and can kind of sing whatever, unless it's either really high or low.

What's that one song "California Girls" All lies, Green Grass? Ha, you think we have grass? Love, Southern California doesn't have enough water for basic hygiene half the time, you think we have grass?
Then you get to Northern California and people are like "Wait, your beaches have white sand? that's just weird?"

There are some online programs that you can run music through and it will transpose it into your range, I don't know any off the top of my head but it's a thing.

There are some online programs that you can run music through and it will transpose it into your range, I don't know any off the top of my head but it's a thing.

Yeah, I know. All I ended up doing was dropping the notes an octave, which is easy enough to do on my own, but still. It's irritating as hell also the piano's out of tune so that made it worse but whatever

Sounds like it might be intrusive thoughts.

Intrusive thoughts are whack. Always afraid that one day I will actually act on them.

Yeah, that's going to go horribly wrong and you'll accidentally drop the flag on it and it'll die and you'll be horrified and just leave it there, you're horrified already and it didn't even happen. But it will. Inevitably." And I ?? Brain please stop

I cannot help with those, but I can relate to them

Especially when I’m babysitting, I’m always scared I’ll accidentally kill someone, or purposefully, or they’ll try to murder me via poisoned water supply

I have some irrational thoughts that are so weird because I understand they are irrational, illogical, and very unlikely and yet I still halfway believe them.
