So Georgia is the deciding seat on whether the Senate/house (Idk which one it is) is either Democratic or Republican.

So even if (though) Biden wins that does not mean he can establish policies and such, especially concerning funding and money spending Congress is the only one who can approve budgets. So the republican's currently have majority in the Senate, it takes 51% of the votes to pass anything, in both houses, right now the House is held by the democrats (Not by a lot) but the Senate is solidly the Republicans. In order to get any of Biden's policies through he needs 51% in both houses, Both. The Democrats need as many people in the Senate as they can because it's a lot easier to convince 1 person to vote with them than it is 3, those aren't the actual numbers we're just pretending.
This goes both ways though, because the house is held by such a small percent (I forget exact numbers) It would be really easy for members of the Republican party to convince people to vote with them instead of their own political party, the Democrats need to fight for every single seat if they want Biden to be at all effective as a president. He may be in the white house but if Congress is against him he can't do what he want's to do.

I can help with the sailing part, and I also live on the east coast. Fly to the west coast, and to solve the problem, rent a boat for 3-6 months. You can do whatever you want in Japan, and you don't have to get hit with Harbor and boat parking fees. The boat company you rent from is supposed to already have those spots rented out. Or you could take a pvc pipe, a kayak, and a bedsheet and sail to Japan on a budget. But I wouldn't reccommend that at all. If you can't see land, kayaks are not the best options.
