Follows our idiot characters from back in the day (by BITD, I mean 1500s Japan) as they derped around fucking shit up through to the future (2170s Japan), where they've all settled down into moderately responsible adults with married partners and children.

Just like ours, but Demons (Youkai) exist even to the modern day.
Demons are heavily 'regulated', and typically remain hidden in human form.
All of the demons that could not adapt into human shapes were eliminated or forced into sanctuary at the City of the West.

I'm not entirely sure? But its more of a science-type magic based around seals and sigils, and a mix of energy from oneself and energy from around.

A bit fancier than modern day. They haven't really progressed much in the 165 years since our present. Cars don't fly, but glass is more resistant to breaks, some computers are hologram screens, and phones are completely shatterproof.

i find this prompt funny as hell because we were a bunch of random 13 y/os who were super into anime and didn't know how to be original yet, so we kinda smashed everything together into the clusterfuck it is today.
