Steve smiled, momentarily biting his lip as he moved Bucky's hand to his shoulder, closer to his neck. "Wouldn't've been allowed to do this," He said with a quiet laugh, his heart fluttering as his gaze drifted from Bucky's eyes to his lips again, "Or…"
Bucky let out a faint breath, eyes flashing to Steve's mouth for a moment, the soft light of the setting sun shimmering off of them as the Ferris wheel made its way higher.
Steve brought a gentle hand to the side of Bucky's face, thinking of nothing but the closeness of their faces and the roseate sky around them as his eyes slipped shut and he softly pressed his lips to Bucky's.
Bucky's eyes slipped shut as his mouth met Steve's, and he pressed closer, enjoying the feeling of Steve's mouth on his own.
Steve let out a quiet sigh as he kissed him, feeling like everything was snapping into place, and they were making up for all the time lost to uncertainty and the disbelief that they could ever feel the same about each other.
Bucky moved to gently pull Steve closer, hardly able to believe that this was happening. They were kissing. This was real.
Steve smiled as he was pressed closer, running a slow hand through Bucky's long hair as they kissed and the sun slowly sank past the horizon, casting its last light over the clouds.
Bucky kept kissing the blonde beside him, eyes shut and arms wrapped around the other man.
Steve pulled away for a moment to take a breath, hiding a shy grin as he bit his lip. "Been wanting to do that for a while," He said with a breathy laugh.
Bucky smiled faintly, opening his eyes to look at Steve. "I…yeah." he replied faintly. He smiled a little, still able to feel the ghost of Steve's lips.
Steve smiled as he ran his hand through Bucky's hair, his low gaze drifting from his eyes to his lips "Hm, well…I would've liked that to have been our first kiss."
Bucky looked at him. "Mm." He replied with a shrug. "I'd say maybe it's the first one that counts." He smiled a little bit.
"Hm, maybe," Steve quietly replied, smiling as he pressed a soft kiss on his lips, his fingers brushing against the faint stubble along Bucky's jaw.
(this reminded me of steve)
(lmaoo yess)
Bucky leaned into the touch with a faint smile. "I say this one is the first one to count, since the other was a dare."
"A very nerve-wracking, satisfying– but also unsatisfying dare," Steve said with a quiet laugh, thinking back to how he'd felt on the night of that kiss, "Hmm, I'd have to agree with you on this one."
Bucky smiled a little, nodding. "Of course you do." he replied with a faint laugh, looking at Steve with a little smile on his face.
Steve nodded, smiling as they slowly moved down from the top of the Ferris wheel. "Well, just for the record," He said, gently tucking away a lock of Bucky's hair, "It was a pretty great kiss."
Bucky smiled a little, leaning into Steve's hand slightly. "Yeah. It…it was." he agreed with a faint smile, looking up at Steve.
Steve let out a soft sigh as he nodded, feeling…almost at peace as he smiled at Bucky, knowing that he'd finally gotten to show him how he'd felt.
Bucky looked at him, that soft smile still on his face. "So…what next?" he asked, raising his eyebrows a little bit at the other man.
"Hmm," Steve sounded with a quick glance at his watch. He turned his gaze back to Bucky, smiling as he pressed a faint kiss on his cheek, "We could…walk along the beach for a bit, before catching the train back to the tower?"
Bucky nodded a little bit. "Yeah, that…that sounds great." he replied with a soft smile, looking at Steve quietly. "We should do that."
"O-kay," Steve softly said as the ride slowed to a stop and the little door was opened. He turned to Bucky with a smile, holding out a hand as he moved to climb out.
Bucky took Steve's hand, smiling softly as he followed Steve out of the Ferris wheel. He smiled a little bit.
Steve let out a sigh of content as his gaze travelled around the amusement part. The lights seemed even brighter with the darkening sky, and the nearly empty boardwalk lining the beach brought a strange feeling of dreaminess over the evening as he held Bucky's hand with a smile, moving closer to the gentle sound of waves.
