"I don't want anything but your company, so you're fine right now." Sorrel said. He ran a soft hand through Cas's hair, admiring its color. "Perfectly fine..~" He muttered, even more quiet than ever before.
"I don't want anything but your company, so you're fine right now." Sorrel said. He ran a soft hand through Cas's hair, admiring its color. "Perfectly fine..~" He muttered, even more quiet than ever before.
Cas melted into Sorrel's touch, seeming to enjoy having his hair pet. He relaxed for the first time since he and Sorrel had met, and he pushed his head up into the other's hand a bit.
Sorrel's eyes widened at Cas's movements. He reminded him of Cloud, a little, in that moment. "You're so plush.." He noticed, as his eyes met Cas's. The guy was so gorgeous, he didn't know how he did it!
( Going to have to leave at any given moment, just a little warning. )
(Alrighty)
Cas's blush returned quickly and he fought the urge to pull away. "S-Sorry…" He murmured again. "I'm… definitely weird, aren't I?"
( Finally back. School let out Friday and Monday due to sickness. )
Sorrel laughed. "Dude, you're okay! O. K. A. Y." He said, with the brightest smile. He hoped he'd get across to the guy, he really wanted him to know that things would be okay!
(No problem <3)
Cas nodded weakly, closing his eyes with a soft sigh. "This is all just so surreal…"
"It seems like your old situation must have been intense, Cas. You really seem to have had a rough time. I bet it is surreal." Sorrel responded. He could tell by now that Cas had some negativity towards his old home, due to his actions. It all added up.
He nodded again, looking down at the ground. "I… I feel safe here…" He whispered. "I-I've never felt safe in a house before."
Sorrel carefully laid his hands on Cas's shoulders, grasping him a little. "You're telling me your old houses were… bad. In a sense?" He asked, with some form of complete worry. "I won't let you feel that ever again, Cas." He muttered, softly.
Cas glanced up at Sorrel nervously, hesitating before nodding. "I… um… th-thank you… I can't tell you how much this means to me."
Sorrel let go of the guy, loosening his whole demeanor. "You don't have to, Cas. And truly, you don't know how much your company fills my heart either. I've been lonely for so long." He said. For a second, you could see a glimpse of pain in his eyes, but it was quickly covered up with joy.
Cas blushed a bit, watching Sorrel as he stepped away. "You… you're sure I'm allowed to stay here?" He asked quietly again.
"Well it is my house, and you're still here now." He purred. "You'll always be allowed here.." He said, happily. Sorrel, slowly, was beginning to get tired. It'd really been a long day for the both of them.
He nodded slowly, processing. "Um… okay. Thank you again, Sorrel." He finally replied. Nix was already curled up on the bed, asleep.
"It's late for me, I think I'll sleep a little bit." Sorrel said. "Sweet dreams, Cas." He purred, before walking out of Cas's room. He went to his bedroom, and almost immediately passed out on his bed. He felt relieved that Cas didn't see his little attack, so so relieved.
"Bye…" Cas hesitated for a minute or two before allowing himself to lie down on the bed, soon falling asleep as well.
( Time skip to morning? )
(Yep)
Sorrel rolled over in his blankets. He didn't want to get up, he had such a good dream. Some cute guy stayed over at his house and they went on a date, it was such a good dream. He didn't want it to end.
Cas had already gotten up at this point and was just sitting in his room with Nix, yawning. He hated waking up, but his body wouldn't let him sleep any longer.
Sorrel groaned. "Ay Cas, you awake yet?" He asked, kind of loudly. He dragged himself out of his bed and stood up. He was awfully tired.
"Yeah… why?" Cas asked sleepily. He stood up and walked over to the door with Nix in one arm. "Do you need me for something?"
"I was just wondering. I don't know. I had a dream that you weren't actually here in real life last night and wanted to see if you still existed." Sorrel yawned. He walked over to Cas and hugged him really sweetly. "I'm gonna make a waffle or two." He mumbled, while still hugging Cas. His sleepiness was almost alike drunkenness, except it came with more rational decisions.
Cas blushed, hugging Sorrel back when he processed what was happening. "I'm pretty sure I exist… and alright." It had been years since he'd had a waffle, honestly, and the last one he'd had was pretty bad. He'd made it himself as a kid, after all.
Sorrel laughed softly. "You're so sweet," He mumbled, dragging himself into the kitchen after letting go of Cas. He found a few of those freezer waffles, and put them into the toaster.
