“You know how this all could have been avoided had Steve given his coordinates?” Lucas scoffed, crossing his arms. “He could have had that dance.”
“You know how this all could have been avoided had Steve given his coordinates?” Lucas scoffed, crossing his arms. “He could have had that dance.”
Ashley laughed lightly and nudged him with her shoulder. “We should definitely have our own dance after we’re done with these movies.”
Lucas nodded.
“Oh, yes, definitely. We’re still having that Halloween masquerade party,” he mused. “Suddenly I’m so glad my dad is the vice principal of the company. I don’t have to carry out the tradition.”
“Oh, that’ll be fun… I meant today, though. Or, rather, whenever we finish,” Ashley chuckled.
Lucas hummed.
“I know what you meant,” he said, grinning. “And we still have that date to go to.”
Ashley hummed, nodding slowly. “Right, of course… We might have to pause our binge-watching for the date…”
Lucas clicked his tongue.
“Somehow I’m not bothered by that at all,”
"I mean, as much as I'd love to just lay around and watch movies with you all day, it'll be nice to get out, so… Yeah, neither am I," Ashley agreed with a shrug.
“When do you want to go?” Lucas questioned. “And where?”
"Didn't I tell you earlier?" Ashley wondered, glancing back over at him. "There was a small cafe I saw not too far from here. We could go around six?"
Lucas nodded in approval.
“Sounds good.”
Ashley grinned and kissed his cheek before snuggling into him. "Great."
“Would you rather fight several duck-sized hulk or a hulk-sized duck?” Lucas suddenly questioned.
(Oh my gosh… Not again…)
Ashley blinked and turned to look at him, incredibly confused. "What?"
(🤣)
“Would you rather…” Lucas started. “Fight dozens of duck-sized Hulks or a Hulk-sized duck?
“Why? Lucas… What the heck?” Ashley questioned, giving him an odd look.
Lucas shrugged.
“Well, would you rather have hand-sized legs or leg-sized hands?”
"Babe… Why? What the heck?" Ashley asked again as she stared at him in utter confusion.
Lucas burst out laughing.
“Come on, answer,”
"But— But— Why?!?" Ashley groaned, burying her face in his shoulder. "Where did you come up with those?"
“I don’t know,” Lucas shrugged. “I just thought of them like out of that right now.”
Ashley sighed and pulled away to look at him. She pressed a kiss to his lips and hovered there for a moment. "You are strange, boyfriend. I love you, but you're weird sometimes… Duck-sized Hulks and hand-sized legs."
“I love you, too, girlfriend,” Lucas grinned. “My strangeness and weirdness loves you, too.”
"Well, good. I'm glad. And what about you? Would you rather age from the neck up? Or the neck down?" Ashley wondered with a grin as she pulled away enough to snuggle into him comfortably again.
Lucas grimaced.
“That is rather disgusting to imagine,” he crinkled his nose. “I’d rather age from the neck up, I guess.”
