Lucas bit back a laugh, nibbling on her skin lightly.
“Right, I’ll try my best.”
Lucas bit back a laugh, nibbling on her skin lightly.
“Right, I’ll try my best.”
“Babe…” Ashley murmured, chewing on her lip. “Let’s… let’s go…”
(Skip?)
(Definitely. 🤣)
Lucas stretched, putting on a shirt with a grin.
“Well, that’s number one on the list,” he said, grinning, his face glistening. “That works, right?”
(Lol.)
Ashley sighed and picked her shirt up from the floor. "Yeah, that definitely works, Luca. For one and two," she chuckled, finding the rest of her clothes so she could get dressed. Again. "But you'll have to fail number three if we're going to go to class."
Lucas clicked his tongue.
“But I thought that was a long-term task?” He got dressed before walking in front of the mirror, running a hand through his hair. “I’m sure that doesn’t apply to something like leaving for classes.”
Ashley finished dressing and walked up behind him. She rested her hand on his shoulder, one crossing over infrintbof him to do so, and rested her chin on his other shoulder.
"Mm… I suppose that's true. Then you'll have to work on three for the rest of our lives," she declared with a small grin. Glancing at her hair, she sighed and set her forehead on the back of Lucas's shoulder. "My hair is a mess, now… Thanks, hun."
Lucas grinned.
“I don’t mind working on it for the rest of our lives together,” he said, giving her a lopsided grin. “Come here, I can fix your hair for you.”
"Whatcha gonna do with it?" Ashley wondered, moving in front of him with a small smile.
Lucas shrugged.
“I don’t know,” he answered. “Probably just brush it and tie it up in a braid. We don’t have much time, you know.”
Ashley crinkled her nose at him before reaching up to peck his lips quickly.
"That works for me. Should I grab you my brush?"
“I got it,” he said, moving away to open the drawer and taking out a brush. He walked back towards Ashley and carefully brushed her hair, starting from the bottom to the top to undo any tangles.
Once it was done, Lucas set the brush aside and began his work. Once he was done, he tied it up with a hair tie and smiled.
“There you go,” he said, satisfied. “Your fishtail braid. To be honest, that was one hairstyle I could not make no matter how much I tried for like weeks.”
At first, he learned all of this to help Kris, but then later on, every time the manager wanted to punish him, he’d make him learn different hairstyles and ways to put on makeup. Until Lucas could not perfect a specific task Kris gave him, he would not let him practice his choreography. Which sucked, but Lucas wasn’t too displeased now. His talent had been put to use.
(You switched POVs in your last paragraph. Lol.)
Ashley turned to look in the mirror and smiled as she ran a hand down her braid. "It looks great, Lucas! I forget you can do stuff like this sometimes. Maybe I should always have you do my hair and makeup."
(Oh no. ;-; I’ll fix it, wait.)
(Fixed!)
Lucas rolled his eyes, but smiled nonetheless.
“Well, don’t get too used to it,” he teased his girlfriend. “I think you’re way better at this than I am.”

Ashley scoffed and spun around to face him again. "I think we're equally good at it," she declared wit a grin.
Lucas snorted again, rolling his eyes.
“Right, if you say so,” he patted her on the head before moving back. “Anyway, grab your things and let’s go. You want to drive, or should I?”
"Is that even a question?" Ashley joked with a chuckle as she walked over to pick up her backpack.
Lucas laughed as he grabbed his own bag.
“Right, sorry I asked such a question,” he teased. “How could I have forgotten?”
(Skip?)
(Sure. When were you thinking to?)
(The part we decided on.)
(Hm… Check the PM.)
(Yup~)
Ashley had just finished up her last class for the the day and was on her way to her Jeep when she noticesd a very familiar man talking to a very unfamiliar woman… What were they taking about that could possibly invoke so much laughter?
Maybe they just knew each other from class. But if that were true, the why was her hand on his arm? Why did she look like she was so happy to be around him?
Lucas was hers… And she was his… So why was he allowing this?
They couldn't have that much history together, could they? Certainly not enough that touching his arm could be considered a causual movement… Ashley would know if he knew her because they had grown up together… And she certainly didn't recognize this woman.
(Autumn, it should be ‘knew’, not ‘new’. XD)
Lucas grinned, bursting out laughing as the girl, Vanessa, told him one of her childhood stories.
Vanessa was Lucas’s partner in choreography class for this project, and to say she was fun to be around would be an understatement. Lucas and her had too much fun today deciding which song to dance to. They both decided on anything that didn’t have to do with slow songs like the rest of the class picked.
“Honestly, Jane is so annoying but half the time she’s the one making us laugh,” Vanessa continued, crossing her arms as she laughed. Occasionally she’d touch his arm, but from what he knew about Vanessa from the hour he spent with her, this was a casual thing for her. He didn’t mind as long as she knew where her boundaries were.
“Ah, well, listen, Vanessa, I have to go,” Lucas cut her off apologetically. “School’s over and I have to meet up with—“
“Your badass girlfriend?” Vanessa interrupted him with a grin. “I want to meet her one day. She sounds so cool—you need someone to keep you balanced.”
She finished with a laugh, punching him on the shoulder lightly. Lucas shook his head, gave his goodbyes and walked away, running a hand through his hair and shaking his head.
Lucas continued to walk, opting to wait for Ashley by her Jeep. He couldn’t wait to hold her in his arms.
