Personality: Lucas is the opposite of his twin sister. While she's cool and calm, Lucas is a mess. He's usually done with everything, and although he's confident, his shyness is not much behind. Lucas doesn't like confrontation, so he steps back whenever he thinks one is coming. Although his father is a leader, and that same trait is passed on to his sister, Lucas is anything but that. Lucas loves looking at the night sky and is a huge astrology nerd. Lucas is the type to read articles on Wikipedia just for fun and will always have his phone battery less than fifty percent. Although it doesn't happen very often, Lucas can have random bursts of confidence. Lucas is also a family person; he doesn't let anything come in between what's important to him.

She had a crush on Eden’s twin brother, Lucas, for a long time; then they kissed and everything went haywire… But they ended up together later! Now, she and Lucas live in California so that he can pursue his dreams.
Lucas woke up to the feeling of his girlfriend laying on his chest. He smiled softly, running his fingers through her hair. God, he loved her so much. She looked beautiful sleeping in his arms. It was a position he loved having her in.
“Hey, there, beautiful,” he murmured, poking her cheek softly. “Time to wake up. We’ve got college to head to.”
It had been a few days since they moved to California. It had been a hard move for Lucas—leaving behind his sister once again. He hoped it wouldn’t scar her too much—she was devastated when he left the first time even though she said nothing. Then again, she had Sterling with her. Lucas knew he could trust Sterling enough to take care of her.
Choosing to live with Ashley proved to be the happiest decisions he ever made. He couldn’t cook for his life, so he enjoyed eating what she made. Waking up with her in his arms was the best feeling ever.
When Ashley shivered, Lucas pulled the blanket over her bare shoulders before pressing a soft kiss against her skin, hugging her tighter to himself. Things were going extremely smoothly for them. He hoped it would continue to be like this without any ups and downs. They’d already had one in the past—he couldn’t have one again. He wouldn’t hurt Ashley again.
Ashley made a soft sound when Lucas poked her and buried her face in his chest. It was morning already? Why did it always feel like she had just fallen asleep when she woke up these days? She never wanted to get out of bed and move from her boyfriend's warm embrace.
"Do we have to? Are you sure we can't just stay home today?" she murmured, blinking her eyes open sleepily and resting her chin on his chest so she could look at him.
Lucas pulled her closer, tangling their legs together, pressing a soft kiss on the top of her head.
"Trust me, Ash, I'd love to," he said, his voice taking an apologetic tone. "But unfortunately, I have an important class today."
He wanted nothing more than to remain in bed with his girlfriend, but sometimes life was just cruel. It never let anything work Lucas's way. Thankfully the weekend was just two days away. They could relax and spend time together in those days.
Ashley hummed and reached up to kiss him softly on the lips. "Right. Of course… I guess we should maybe start getting ready then, hm?" she sighed, reluctantly pulling away. "I need to shower, anyway."
Lucas kissed her back before pressing a soft kiss on her cheeks.
"Should I join you?" he asked teasingly, although he knew she might turn the tables on him. She did that quite a lot. "We could save water consumption that way."
Ashley laughed softly at his suggestion and kissed him again. She pulled back and winked at him before climbing out of bed.
"That is entirely up to you, babe. I would never be opposed to that idea," she declared, smirking at him over her shoulder quickly as she started toward the bathroom.
Lucas knew she would agree, but he didn't think she would do it so sexily. It made his blood boil, but of course, it wasn't in anger. It was in embarrassment.
Lucas immediately shook his head before he climbed out of bed, trailing after his girlfriend and wrapping his arms around her.
"I mean, since you invited me so kindly…" he whispered in her ear, trying to tease her back. "Why not?"
Ashley leaned back into him, grinning. He was cute when he was trying to tease her. Granted, it worked, definitely. But sheepish never let him know that. Not unless she was completely caught off guard.
She turned around in his arms, her smirk back on her lips as she looked up at him. "Last one in drives to school?"
Lucas pressed his lips against hers, pulling her closer as a sign of accepting her challenge. He knew, in the end, he’d lose, but he also knew he couldn’t let her win easily.
“Well, too bad I have to win, right?” He winked at her playfully. “After all, you love your Jeep!”
Ashley narrowed her eyes at him, pursing her lips. That was true… But she still wanted to win.
"I'm still going to win," she declared with a shrug. "But we have to turn the water in first. Hot, warm, or cold today?"
Lucas thought for a moment.
“I’ll say warm,” he said. “Even though things are probably going to get hot in there, I cannot stand cold water.”
Ashley bit her lip at the thought, then blinked to clear her head. "Good choice… Warm is always a safe option."
Lucas winked at her.
“Like you said… last one In has to drive!”
He exclaimed before he shot towards the bathroom. He didn’t make it very far, however, because his girlfriend snapped out of it quickly and caught up to him.
"Hey! You can't do that, it's not fair!" Ashley laughed as she followed him in and slammed the door shut behind them.
She quickly – but carefully, of course! – raced past him and stepped into the shower. Sticking her tongue out at him, she laughed a little. "I won."
Lucas laughed, grinning widely at his beloved.
“I lost fair and square,” he said, raising his hands as he laughed. “Although I did attempt to cheat at the beginning. You can, of course, look past that, can’t you?”
Ashley lifted her chin and looked down her nose at him playfully, a disdainful look on her face. "And what, peasant, shall you do to pay for your grievous crime?" she asked, finding it hard to keep the smile from her lips and the laughter from her voice.
Lucas set his chin on his hand, pretending to think.
“Perhaps… I could try making this shower eventful for you?” He smirked at that, hoping his statement would get her to blush. “What do you say, my lady?”
It did, in fact, make her blush. She cleared her throat as her chin lowered. "That… That would certainly do," she murmured, chewing on her lip and glancing over him quickly.
Yeah, she'd just checked him out. But he was her boyfriend. It wasn't weird this way.
