Ashley grinned and hugged him tighter. “Got it. And I will never leave you again nor let you leave me. ‘Kay?”
Ashley grinned and hugged him tighter. “Got it. And I will never leave you again nor let you leave me. ‘Kay?”
Lucas grinned and nodded, and in a few minutes, they were in school.
Lucas kissed Ashley’s cheek and bid her farewell before he went to his first class. He had choreography for his fourth class, and he couldn’t wait. He practiced so hard for this.
Still, he waited more for lunch because it meant seeing Ashley. So he waited patiently until his lunch bell rang and he shot out of the class, whipping out his phone to text Ashley.
Ashley’s first few classes had gone well enough. She really enjoyed her Intro to Chemistry class, so that was always nice for her to go to.
When her lunch break rolled around, she packed up her things and headed to the library. There was a quiz in one of her classes soon that she needed to study for, so hats what she was doing when she got Lucas’s text. Grinning, she opened it and quickly responded.
ASHLEY: Hey, babe! Where should we meet for lunch?
Lucas quickly responded, wanting to do nothing but capture her lips. He knew he could have them whenever he wanted, but he wanted to kiss her. Badly.
LUCAS: In the library? That’s where you are, right?
ASHLEY: Oh, sure. I was thinking we could go out if you wanted.
She continued to study her book, pouring over the words.
LUCAS: Oh, then we can go out.
Lucas jumping down the stairs, almost to the library.
Ashley glanced at her phone and grinned. She started to pack her things up as she waited for Lucas to arrive.
When Lucas saw Ashley, he grinned. Running up to her, and almost crashing into a table in the process, he took her in his arms and swung her around.
“I missed you!”
“Babe!” Ashley laughed, completely surprised. “Gosh, warn a girl before you do that!”
Lucas grinned.
“Where’s the fun in that?” He pecked her on her lips softly. “Now let’s get out of here before the librarian kicks us out.”
Ashley chuckled and tugged him back down for a longer kiss. “All right. Where should we go, then?” she asked as they walked out.
Lucas hummed to himself.
“Um, what about McDonalds?” He suggested. “I’m really craving a burger and fries right now. How much time do you have left?”
“I’ve got about… twenty minutes left,” Ashley said, looking down at her phone. She smiled up at Lucas and linked arms with him. “McDonald’s sounds fine. I’ve been wanting fries, too, actually so that’s a good plan.”
Lucas grinned.
"That's great! Let's go quickly, then,"
Ashley grinned and reached up to peck his cheek quickly as they made their way out to the parking lot. She looked up at him with an almost puppy-dog-like smile.
“Can we drive my baby, today?” she asked.
Lucas was about to object when he saw the look on her face. Immediately, his resolve died down. How could he even refuse that smile of hers? That girl knew all she needed to do was look at him like that and he'd do anything.
"All right, all right,"
“Yay! Great. We don’t drive her as much as we used to, these days,” Ashley said with a wide grin as she pulled him toward her Jeep.
Lucas snorted.
"Gee, I wonder why…" he said sarcastically as he waited for Ashley to unlock her car.
Ashley stuck her tongue out at Lucas as she got in and buckled up before starting the car. “Maybe we should go on more dates. We would drive more that way.”
Lucas nodded in approval.
"Let's go out on the weekends," he said.
“Once a week. Saturday evenings, maybe?” Ashley suggested as she started driving toward the nearest McDonald’s.
(No wonder I wasn’t getting any notifications. :o I didn’t even reply!)
“That sounds good,” Lucas nodded in approval as they hit the road. “And then we can call Eden on Sunday.”
(Lol. I was wondering if I'd forgotten to reply. XD)
Ashley smiled, nodding her agreement. "I like that plan. I'm sure she'll be glad to hear from us, and it'll be good to see how she and Sterling are faring."
(Sorry~)
“Well, I hope she hasn’t gone crazy yet,” Lucas joked. “You know how he teases her constantly.”
(Wrong POV. Lol. We're in third person, not first.)
"I'm sure she's a blushing mess around him," Ashley laughed lightly as she pulled into the parking lot. "But I'll bet they've been enjoying the alone time."
