She accidentally told my stepdad she got an 800 dollar book. Lol.)
Autumn chuckled. "Definitely. Just wait until the paparazzi find out you're wearing them."

(Oooo I haven’t read that.
Also meeee I’ve done that with a 400 pager before xD)
Alex mocked surprise. “They’ll be all over them!”
(Lol. I swear, the books in the series keep getting longer. Like, the next will probably be 1000. ;P)
"Oh, most definitely! Come to think of it, I can't believe they haven't mobbed you already!" Autumn declared, holding back a laugh.
(xD Imagine people in the future lugging them around)
Alex twisted around to model the back of the shoes. “Why they haven’t mobbed me isn’t the mystery! It’s how people on the streets haven’t!”
(Lol. Book 23 is 5500 pages…)
"Oh, yes. You should definitely wear different shoes so that you don't get mobbed," Autumn said seriously, nodding.
(god 23 books?)
Alex nodded, turning back to her. “You’re absolutely right!”
(No, lol. I just made that up.
The only series that's that long – cough longer cough – is the Warriors series.)
"But not today. We're on a schedule, and I'm done shopping," Autumn said with a chuckle.
(Oh jeez the Warriors series I’m not even keeping up with anymore.)
Alex chuckled too. “Good point.” He took his shoes with a ‘thank you’.
“Let’s go.”
(Lol. I own every single book in the main arcs… Except for, like, the newest two, I think… And I think I have Moth Flight's Vision, too.)
Autumn stepped out the door with a sigh. "Finally, free from that place!"
(I have all of the first, third and fourth, and a good majority of the super editions. The others (including the second) I don’t care about.)
Alex laughed gently. “You have to admit that it smelled good in there.”
"Eh…" Autumn shrugged. "I prefer bonfires…"
Alex hummed, nodding. “Bonfires or any burning wood just smells so good.”
"Definitely," Autumn agreed, smiling.
Alex grinned at her. “We should host a barbecue. You could meet my bandmates. And your sister could, too.” He laughed gently.
"That would be great!" Autumn exclaimed. "When and where?"
Alex smiled at her. “Dude, whenever you’re free and when you could bring your sister would be awesome!”
"So your place, then? Back in town?" Autumn asked.
Alex smiled. “Actually, yeah! That’d be much better.”
"Oh, where were you thinking?" Autumn asked.
“I was thinking here, but at the countryside is so much better. The guys’ll appreciate it more.” Alex grinned.
"Ugh. Yeah, please no bonfires here," Autumn chuckled.
Alex chuckled too. “I can’t wait! Tell me whenever you’re on your next long-term break is and I’ll notify the guys!”
"Will do," Autumn said with a smile.
Alex shook his hair out. “Until then… TAXI!”
Autumn flinched and shook her head with a laugh. "Geez…"
