Alex nodded. "Nice. So what kind of dress shoe should I get?"
Alex nodded. "Nice. So what kind of dress shoe should I get?"
"Probably just some nice black loafers or something," Autumn said with a shrug. "I don't really know, honestly. I don't shop for men's shoes."
Alex tilted his head. "Loafers? They sound like bread, not shoes."
"Well, Google them! I swear it's a shoe," Autumn laughed.
Alex blinked at her. "If it shows up with bread shoes I'll be mad at you."
"If it shows up with bread shoes, I'll laugh," Autumn informed him, grinning.
(if it shoes up xD)
Alex rolled his eyes, grinning, then pulled out his phone and looked up loafers. It didn't show up with bread shoes, unfortunately.
(I hate autocorrect…)
"You see? I'm correct! They aren't bread shoes," Autumn said with a wink.
Alex gave a grumpy huff. "I wish they were bread shoes. That'd be cool to wear."
Autumn chuckled. "Yes, because that would have been professional."
"I wouldn't wear it to my interview! Just around my house." He grinned.
"Uh-huh. I'm sure you wouldn't have," Autumn teased.
Alex waved his hands. "I bet I'd look amazing in bread shoes."
"Yeah, you'd look stellar," Autumn declared, holding back a laugh.
Alex put his phone back. "I would look stellar. I'd be out of this world fabulous."
"Definitely," Autumn chuckled.
Alex looked at her. "What? You don't believe me?"
"I mean, you might look killer in bread shoes, but…" Autumn trailed off with an amused shrug.
Alex shook his head, raising a hand. "I would look amazing in bread shoes."
Autumn snorted and rolled her eyes. "All right, bread boy."
Alex nudged her gently. "Don't be like that! You know I'd look amazing!"
"Mmhm," Autumn hummed teasingly.
Alex scoffed jokingly. "You just don't know true fashion!"
"Says the one who couldn't tell the difference between two ties!" Autumn laughed.
Alex waved a hand. "I'm just partially color-blind!"
