Alex moved closer so his nose was practically touching the fine material of the ties. “I kinda see it…”

"Oh my word," Autumn chuckled. "Fine, pick your own tie, then."

Alex grabbed the two ties. “Hmmm… but could you explain?? What’s the difference??”

"This one–" Autumn held up the tie in her right hand. "–is more intricately detailed than this one–" She held up the one in her left.

Alex squinted at the right one, then to the left. “Are you sure? I see nothing.”

"Ugh. Whatever. Deal with your own tire, Autumn mumbled.

Alex rolled his eyes and took both of the ties. “I’ll buy them both.”

Autumn raised an eyebrow. "Really? I mean, I guess that works…"

Alex nodded and put them together. “Are there any others you’d think look okay?”

Autumn hummed as she turned to look for more ties. She spotted a very dark on and held it up beside his face.

"This one."

Alex looked at it with a grin. “It looks nice. Really dark.”

Autumn chuckled.

"So you actually like this one?" she teased.

“Well I can see the color.” Alex laughed.

"You could see the color of the other two, but you just couldn't tell the difference between them," Autumn sighed.

Alex glanced down at the other two ties. “They look the same, though.”

Autumn groaned. "Then just put one back. Honestly, it really doesn't even matter which one."

Alex shook his head. “I’ll just buy all of them, it’s not a problem.”

"If you're sure…" Autumn trailed off with a shrug.

Alex gave a tiny sigh. “I’m sure. We can’t waste time, can we?” He smiled a little a d led the way to the front.

"I suppose. I mean, we do have an appointment to get to," Autumn said, nodding slowly.

Alex nodded. He set the ties down for the cashier to ring up, then glanced over to Autumn.
“Precisely.”

"This should be interesting," Autumn chuckled when she thought about it.

Alex chuckled and handed over his card. “Yes, it will be, won’t it?”

"Most definitely," Autumn chuckled. "Oh… You have good shoes, right?"

Alex tilted his head. “I’m not sure.”
