"Are you really? Or are you just making an excuse?" Autumn asked, giving him a scrutinizing look.
"Are you really? Or are you just making an excuse?" Autumn asked, giving him a scrutinizing look.
"Why would I lie to you?" Alex exclaimed hotly.
"I never said you would," Autumn said with a shrug. "I was just curious."
Alex rolled his eyes. "I know you were. But to call my colorblindness an excuse!"
"Hey, I didn't know!" Autumn said, putting her hands up defensively.
Alex stuck out his tongue a little, grinning. “Don’t feel bad, I didn’t tell you.”
"Exactly. So I couldn't have known," Autumn stated with a playful smirk.
Alex raised his nose. “Precisely.” He beamed.
Autumn swatted at his arm playfully, chuckling. "You're a dork."
Alex gave a little laugh, leaning away from her. “I am a good dork, I promise!”
"Mmhm… We'll see if you can behave yourself when you're getting fitted later," Autumn chuckled as they stopped in front of a shoe store.
Alex chuckled a little too, paid the taxi-driver and unfolded himself from the inside of the car. He shut the door and waited for Autumn on the sidewalk.
Autumn stepped out of the car with a sigh and looked up at the store. She glanced over at Alex with a small smile. "You ready for some shoe shopping?"
Alex grinned at her. “Yep. If they have bread shoes I’m buying them to prove my point.”
"Ugh, of course you are," Autumn said, shaking her head with a smile as she walked inside.
Alex held the door open as he walked in after her. It was a simple layout of multiple shelves of shoes, though they were lined with fancy dresshoes and other fancy shoe… things.
(*dress shoes)
"All right," Autumn sighed as she glanced around the store. "Where should we start?"
(I wan some dress hoes xD
Thanks I wasn’t sure if it was together or apart.)
Alex looked at her. “I have no idea. This is your journey.”
(Lol. Np.)
"Mine? You're the one who needs shoes," Autumn pointed out, looking at him with a raised eyebrow.
“But you dragged me here!” Alex protested, glancing towards the shelves nervously.
"I did no such thing! You came of your own accord," Autumn countered as she started toward a shelf of fancy-looking black shoes.
“You said we had to go shopping for shoes! Just fancy stuff in genral…” He tailed her like an overzealous puppy.
"Yeah, but you could've said 'no,'" Autumn reminded him, stopping to look at the loafers.
Alex huffed. “I’d never say no to my bestie!” He laughed.
Autumn glanced at him with a raised eyebrow. "Bestie, huh?"
