Alex smiled widely back. “I can’t wait for you to try it either.”

"Oh, we could do punch, too!" Autumn suddenly declared.

Alex threw his head back dramtically. “Of course!”

"Punch is great!" Autumn said.

“Punch. Is. Amazing.” He punctuated every word with a head movement.

"Absolutely, positively wonderful!" Autumn laughed.

“It’s just. Flooring. How amazing punch is.” He gave a light laugh.

"It's, like, world-ending," Autumn chuckled.

“Absolutely. All of the world’s power comes. From. Punch.”

"All of it. Every single drop," Autumn laughed.

“It’s just so powerful. We need it at the bonfire, it wouldn’t be one without it.”

"No, it definitely wouldn't! We must have it!"

"And s'mores will take over the world," Autumn declared with a nod.

“No, punch has power over everything.” Alex waved his hands.

"No… S'mores are better!" Autumn argued.

Alex threw his head back. “Have you even ever had punch? Like ever?”

"Have you even ever had a s'more?" Autumn countered.

“Yes I have. It gets all over your fingers and it’s sticky and you have to wash your hands…”

"And punch is red, and it spills, and it stains things," Autumn stated.

“But you can just clean it without a worry!” Alex exclaimed, as if this argument didn’t contradict what he just said.

"The same with s'mores!" Autumn huffed.

Alex huffed back at her. “And? They’re still messy no matter what you do.”

"And so is punch! Your argument is invalid," Autumn declared.
