Autumn went back to work and ran lines with her coworkers again. They were getting pretty good progress, but someone seemed to always laugh or mess up a line or stutter.

Alex paid the taxi-driver, pocketed his wallet carefully and out of the taxi he went. He looked up at the office-building, grinning. He also felt nervous, but the bustling cityside and hopeful wind breathed life back into him. He made sure his tie was straight before walking into the building, gazing around at the fancy decor.
The receptionist glanced up at him with a warm smile. "May I help you?"
Alex looked down at her, matching her grin. “Hi! I’m Alexander Langton here for a meeting?”
"Langton… Langton… At three?" the woman, Sarah as her name tag said, checked.
Alex nodded. “Yep, Alexander Langton at three o’clock.” He smiled patiently.
"Ms. Chelys will see you in a moment," Sarah said. "You can take a seat in the lobby while you wait."
Alex bowed slightly. “Thank you.” He turned heel and went to go sit. He got comfortable in the leather chair in the lobby, making note to compliment Chyels’ style.
Jeopardy theme music plays in the background
After about fifteen minutes, a tall, ginger-haired woman wearing a light green suit.
"Alexander Langton?"
Alex waited patiently, tapping his foot slightly to the Jeopardy music in his head. When he was called, he rose and walked over to great the woman.
“Hello there. I am Alexander.” He stuck out his hand, hoping with all of his might this was Brooklyn.
"A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Langton," she said as she took his hand with a smile. "I'm Brooklyn Chelys. Shall we go back to my office?"
Alex straightened up with a nod. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, too.” He smiled warmly. “Yes, let’s.” He gave a slight bow, indicating that she lead the way.
"You don't have to bow," Brooklyn chuckled as she turned to lead the way.
Alex gave a gentle laugh. “Sorry.” He tailed her, rubbing the back of his head.
"No worries. Is this your first meeting with a producer?" Brooklyn asked as she stepped into an office to the left side of the hall.
Alex nodded. “It is. I’ve been producing stuff on my own for a while, but I think having a producer would be a good idea.”
Brooklyn held the door open for him. "Really? Well, you're well dressed for your first meeting."
Alex took the door and walked in after her, smiling. “A good friend helped me construct it. I’ll tell her you sent her compliments.” He laughed.
"You do that. She deserves it," Brooklyn chuckled. She shut the door, and featured to a chair. "Take a seat."
Alex grinned. “She does indeed.” He sat down in the featured chair, crossing his hands neatly over his lap.
(Skip to the end of the meeting?)
(Yes please)
Brooklyn stood up and stuck her hand out. "It was a pleasure to meet you. I look forward to doing business with you."
Alex rose too, grinning as he took her hand. “It was a pleasure, too.” He beamed happily. “I look forward to it, too, thank you, Ms. Chelys.”
"Call me Brooklyn," she said with a smile. "Have a great rest of your evening."
