“Well, I guess we could drop my car off at home and then go eat… Or we could just go home and order pizza,” Amber mused, leaning into him.
“Well, I guess we could drop my car off at home and then go eat… Or we could just go home and order pizza,” Amber mused, leaning into him.
“What do you want to do?” William wrapped an arm around her shoulders. “We can order in, or eat out. We’ll do whatever you want.”
Amber hummed and glanced around thoughtfully. “Let’s order in. Less driving around that way and more time to spend with each other.”
William nodded. “All right. We can call a food place right now so we don’t have to wait until we get home.”
“Pizza. We’re having pizza,” Amber declared as they stepped onto the parking lot. She sighed and glanced toward her car. “I don’t want to leave you… But I guess I’ll have to in order to spend more time with you.”
“Pizza it is, then,” William slipped out his phone before he leaned toward Amber and kissed her briefly. “It won’t be long, don’t worry. Dominos pizza, or Pizza Hut?”
“Dominos, please,” Amber said, pressing their lips together again. “Hey. I love you, my handsome, ridiculously hot fiancé.”
William wrapped both his arms around her waist and pressed their lips tighter. “I love you, too, sweetheart. I’ll see you in ten minutes max.”
Amber hummed and reached up to cup his cheeks as she kissed him back. “Okay. Ten minutes. I’ll see you there.”
“Black olives or no?” William quirked an eyebrow. “Pepperoni or cheese? Extra cheese? Anything you’d like to tell me so I can order while I’m driving?”
“No olives, all of the meat they can fit on it, veggies are fine,” Amber said, smiling up at him. “Medium pizza.”
“All right,” William pecked her on the mouth again. “See you later, love.”
Amber hummed and pecked him back before very reluctantly pulling away. “See you in a bit.”
William smiled. “Go on. I’ll move when you’re in your car.”
“But I don’t wanna leave you,” Amber groaned, pouting at him.
“It’ll just be for a little while,” William chuckled. “The quicker you get to your car, the sooner we can get home.”
Amber crinkled her nose and stuck her tongue out at him. “Okay, last one to their car picks the color we paint our room!”
William broke out into laughter, flicking his fiancée on the forehead. “Hilarious, Blue. Get your butt in the car. I’m not moving until I know you’re safely in it.”
“No, really! I’ll race you!” Amber laughed, swatting his hand away. “C’mon, love, let’s go!”
“You do realize I’ll lose on purpose, right?” He grinned at her. “Besides, I want to make sure you get to your car safely. I really don’t want you tripping and knocking your teeth out.”
Amber crinkled her nose. “Fine. I’ll see you in a few, then,” she sighed, rolling her eyes. “Don’t take too long or else I might end up surprising you when you get home.”
William’s eyes darkened at her words.
“If it’s the surprise I think it is, then I wouldn’t be late,” he said. “Because I’d like to unwrap it myself. Now get a move on, Blue.”
Amber winked, taking slow steps back. “I guess you’ll see, won’t you? But as long as you don’t take too long, we’re eating first. And I would much prefer that because, as I’ve said many times already, I’m starving,” she laughed.
“I prefer we eat first,” William rolled his eyes at her. “So do control yourself, love.”
“Will do. I’ll see you in a few, love,” Amber hummed as she turned around and headed toward her car.
