So, basically, this pregnancy and birth were going to destroy Simon mentally, emotionally, and physically. And it was hard to tell if Astral really cared about that or not.

((Yay maybe probably not one good thing))
((I- :’) ))
Simon wasn’t sure. He still thought Astral would just kill him or get rid of him after the birth. If he even managed to survive the birth that is. He already wasn’t doing too well physically honestly.
(He needs at least one…)
(<3)
It wasn't illogical to come to that conclusion, with Astral. Still, the god would always care for Simon, in some twisted way, because he really was going to get the one thing he wanted the most from Simon.
((Yeah…..as long as Astral doesn’t do anything more to freak him out, physical affection will remain his love language lol))
((we desperately need the cuddle scenes back))
Simon just didn’t want to be hurt anymore. The best situation for him would be if he could just raise the kid in a somewhat healthy home with all of them getting along.
(Good lol)
(We desperately do-)
It would be the best situation. It was just one of the more unlikely outcomes…
Mia didn't fall back asleep, arms still around Simon. She had even less of an appetite now, her stomach hurting some.
((their cuddle scenes were so fucking cute ;-;))
Simon didn’t think she would, but stayed with his arms wrapped around her regardless, rubbing small circles into her back. He just hoped they’d manage to be somewhat okay in the end.
((also Simon’s probably gonna start talking to the kid soon which will be kinda cute))
(They were ;-;)
(It'll be cute out of context)
Simon probably would, in some way. Not Mia, though. Astral had already sealed her mind once, he could easily do so again.
((;-;))
((true))
Simon would do anything he could to avoid that, which would probably just result in him making some awful deals with Astral that would only delay any harm from being done. There was nothing Simon could do to stop it forever.
It would, indeed. After Simon died, it wouldn't matter anyway. Still, Astral would use this with Simon, to give himself the happy family he wanted.
Simon most likely wouldn’t fight him on it. He wanted to make sure the kid could actually grow up in a good environment, and he wanted to make sure he was able to help raise them. He knew he’d probably have to make sacrifices to get anything else he wanted though.
Astral wanted affection, not just an act for the child. He'd hold Mia over Simon if they didn't manage to patch up their relationship enough. Still, he didn't want to have to resort to that.
Hopefully, the god wouldn’t have to. Simon would definitely want to avoid that, and he’d do anything to make sure it wouldn’t happen. So like always, Astral would get whatever he wanted and get his happy little family.
Astral would. He always did.
Mia hummed, looking up. She was feeling slightly better, it seemed.
Simon smiled at her softly when she looked up. “Are you feeling a bit better now?” He asked gently, loosening his grip on her slightly.
"A little, yeah… what about you?" Mia let out a small hum, managing a weak smile.
“Yeah I’m doing good.” He reassured. “Do you wanna get up now or just stay here?” He asked.
"Getting up would do us some good." She didn't want to, personally, but they needed to not be in bed all day.
He nodded. “Okay then, up we go.” He scooted Mia off his lap carefully so he could stand, knowing that if he didn’t get up right away, he wouldn’t get up at all for the rest of the day.
Mia nodded, moving off of Simon's lap with his help. She stood as well, stretching slightly.
"Hm…"
Simon stretched out as well, groaning softly. “I feel like shit..” he grumbled. Thankfully his morning sickness had been pretty mild so far but there was no doubt more to come.
Mia nodded some.
"Yeah…" She moved over, gently placing her hand against his back.
He appreciated it, just staying still for a moment before he was ready to move. “Okay then, what do we want to do? We have at least a solid half a day left.” He announced cheerfully.
Mia thought a moment, shrugging.
"I think I had plans last night, but I don't really remember things anymore, aha…"
“Well….” he thought for a moment. “We could always go to the library. We’ll still be sitting but at least it’ll be in a different spot.” He offered.
