I was taking care of seven year olds all day. Why do they try so hard to get hurt? I'm exhausted.

Because there's a kid in the grade above me who willingly ran into a brick wall and broke his watch

sy, please remove that from this thread. like i've told you before (and i know you know i've told you), the venting chat is not a place to resolve your interpersonal conflicts with other users. there are like 2 or 3 entire other places where you can do that right now. yes, it says "venting" in the title, but i would implore you to read the rules, and to follow them to their spirit, not just their letter.

Today on I'm a terrible friend and everyone hates me and for good reason: yup I really don't wanna do anything right now or ever again.
Kind of wanna quit band because honestly I'm not really having fun. It's just a string of near panic attacks and stress and rage and the only thing stopping me is that I get to drive and listen to music and have like two minutes of actually having a good time with my friends.

I wore my newest (and first/only) scrunchie to my Zoom call with them and also had a drink with a metal straw and they're insisting on giving me a makeover lmao

My sister demanded of making me one earlier this year. I am not the owner of many scrunchies, and three metal straws, along with the dreaded Hydro flask. The things my sister does for a joke. Though I am grateful for the gifts, I find scrunchies are easier to use when your hair is three feet long.

I love the fact that my mom is like don’t let cartoon raise your kids. But when we got cable she acted like adult swim would pop up any second on Cartoon Network with out warning. So I could never watch it. And I couldn’t watch Nickelodeon because heaven forbid I watch spongebob. And when we eventually got Netflix and I watched some Ever after High I got in trouble because my mom didn’t know if it was “inappropriate or not”. Despite being made by Mattel the same people who made Barbie, which she let me watch. And having a kids profile. And once I actually got to watch CN (I think?) And saw Steven Universe I got in trouble for that.

So hopefully she changes her all cartoons are bad view point for when Gabby is older.

Anyways here’s my complaint about how I’m only able to have freedom watching cartoons now.
