I'm just lurking like Dragoncita. Threads I'm part of haven't been very active. Do you guys think the reboot may have killed off the Altir RPs or is Notebook just particularly dead recently? Besides the Soldier, Poet, King, that's really my only RP since I try to not join too many at once.

Idk. I was bored yesterday and so I started learning Russian so now I can kind of speak Russian. Also I can say "this is not my bicycle" in Russian, это не мой велосипед.

Nice, I'm learning Spanish(Though I'd probably learn something else if my school had classes) and I'm still going through basics because it's my first year in the class. What made you learn such an odd phrase in Russian anyway?

Interesting. I keep hearing about Duolingo when it comes to learning languages, is it good? I'm taking Spanish but I'd much rather learn Japanese or something if I can find a way to learn, just because I really like the sound of the words and I could use it with some of my characters based on their folklore.

Also whenever the reboot picks back up I think I'm going to pull Aster out and use my overworked security guard Oridone instead. I really need to practice writing her more.

Yeah it's good you can learn as many languages as you want at the same time, and even though you're already taking Spanish you can use duolingo to learn it too. When you start a course that you already know how to speak a bit then you can take a placement test and start from the level you currently are at. Of course, it doesn't have every language in the world (I kind of wanted to learn Finnish but it wasn't an option), but it does have Japanese. It even has Klingon. So yeah, it's good.

I'll check out that RP! If you're still looking for a name one from the top of my head is Calren, I almost used it for a character but changed it. Also, I've been using too many male characters as of recently. So I'm going to post the very basics of Aster here and when the reboot picks back up switch him out with the character I'm going to edit into the post with Ben's form.

Name/Nicknames: Aster
Age: 30s
Species: Human spirit/Reanimated robot
Gender: Male
Appearance: 5'7 Mostly humanoid silver-ish grey robot, the metal a bit mixed and matched on his arms and such as if he had to be repaired. His head is made up of a screen covered sphere, which through magnetic tech and magic floats just above his body as if he had a neck.
Attire: White long sleeve button-up shirt and black pants with black split toe shoes and loose fitting suspenders. He also is often wearing a flat cap.
Personality: Stubborn and easily annoyed unless in the company of those familiar to him. He is very formal and strict, though he acts like a father to some of his recruits. When he has pushed away from dealing with plans he can show himself to have a friendly but sarcastic sense of humor and a love for building small items even if they serve no function.
Any Weapons or Magic: Aster uses a pistol, often having one on him and finding a way to slip one by even when it's not allowed.
