Zaphir stared up into the vast night sky, amazed by the bright stars that peppered the inky black void. She couldn't believe that soon she'd be up there as well, exploring the milky way with her friends.
She could see the Northern Lights twinkling vividly in the sky, as if showing off its beautiful and peaceful light. It was as if it was shouting, I'm here! Notice me!

Oh, what Zaphir would do to be noticed. And now she would be. Chosen for an adventure in space….that was a luxury few had, even though space travel was a popular thing these days.

Zaphir finally let her eyes drift to the big and bright moon. The sphere did not sparkle or glitter, nor did it scream, Notice me! It did not boast of its greatness, but was humble and truthful. It was not harsh or cold, offering its soft light to guide people through the dark night. The moon was beautiful, and Zaphir loved it with all her heart.

Thank you
It's for a book idea that I have to show Cam
But I have to finish typing it into the computer first.

I do! But I don't know how long I'll be on… There are people here that I might have to "socialize" with.

(I say "socialize" because all I do is sit and listen to everyone else talk.)

I drizzled the gooey, chocolatey goodness onto my bowl of vanilla ice cream, while bobbing my head to my current favorite song: Pioneers by for King and Country. The door to my bedroom cracks open, and I look up to see a head of long, brown hair pop into my room. My sister's gaze flicks between me and my ice cream, and a smirk plasters itself on her lips.

"No," I say calmly, already knowing what she wants to do. She ignores me and steps into the room, holding her own bowl of ice cream. Slowly, she makes her way closer and closer, eyeing the chocolate syrup the whole way. By now, I'm clutching my precious chocolate to my chest, glaring at my sister. "No," I repeat.

"Yes!" she exclaims, reaching out and attempting to snatch it from me. Before she can get a good grip on it, I pull it away.

"No! Stop!" I shout, trying to keep her from getting it. She gets her hand wrapped around it eventually, and we go back and forth, back and forth. She's got it, I've got it, she's got it again, I've got it again. Finally, I give in and let her have it, just as she's pulling it back to herself. After a moment of wobbling, she falls flat on her bottom and looks up at me with wide eyes. We look at each other for a moment, and then she starts laughing. I join in and together we laugh until our sides hurt.

This. Was. A. Terrible. Idea.
Jake is bouncing off the walls, Claire is covered head to toe in chocolate syrup, and Ell is still downing chocolate syrup from the bottle.
Everyone said that college parties were dangerous, and I scoffed. But now that I'm here.. buying 23 bottles of chocolate syrup on sale and inviting people over for a chocolate syrup party, was not right. This is dangerous. And we will pay the price. But for now, I think I'll go try to attempt to stop Jil from squeezing chocolate syrup on people that pass by out the window.

Tara locked the last of her chocolate syrup off her fingers, then looked up at her best friend. "Rene, are you okay?" Rene was bouncing up and down, hopping like a kangaroo around the cabin's porch.
"Too. Much. Sugar." Rene stated as she continued bouncing. "Maybe next time we can buy TobyMac's new album for a treat."
"Agreed. Music is much better than the consequences of a sugar high…." Tara trailed off.
