It was good
Prompt?
Tears jerk free and tumble to the ground. My heavy breathing fills my ears. All of the struggles. All of the losses. For what?
Jenny.
Asher.
Margot.
Austen.
My heart churns. I stand up, even with the numbness in my leg, and stalk toward the door. I pound incessantly on the steel. Pain squeezes my arms. My wrists tingle. I heard shots outside. Screams.
I back away quickly from the door, just before it is blasted open.
"Kavvy?" The person asks. The voice is young, very young, and distinctively female.
"Yes. Who are you?"
The girl opens her mouth, but a bullet pierces her chest. Instead of a reply, she gasps and her eyes bulge.
"NO!" I shriek and lunge for her. I take her gun from her and step out into the hallway. In one swift shot, I kill the man who murdered this child. I looked down at her. She couldn't have been older than 12.
I scan the hallway and see- "Oni?!"
"Kav!" Oni runs down the hall and examins me. "You're okay!"
"Status report?" I ask. She'll understand my bluntness. We can talk later.
She quickly points to the way they came. "That way is clear. Fifteen hostiles are detected the other way."
"How many of us?"
"Seven. Not including you or…" Oni bits her lip and her gaze travels down to the limp girl.
I point to the girl. "What is her name?"
Oni's eyes twinkle with tears. "Candi."
I nod and aim my gun in the opposite direction that Oni pointed. "Let's go."
Oni instantly regained her posture. Her eyes still shone, but her gaze was now hardened.
We charge, taking out the enemy easily.
Their agonizing screams are our fight song.
Nice
But try to tone down on the death. It's not helping my mood whatsoever
No. I am evil…
Let's just say that I'm in a John Green mood…
I'm gonna do a not dark prompt, bc I'm extremely depressed and reading about death doesn't help. Prompt: Toothpaste
If you make this dark I will scream
(Honestly, I was tempted to make a it dark…..but I shall spare you my friend.)
Tara sighed as she walked into the cabin bathroom. She mindlessly grabbed for some moisturizer for her face and started rubbing it on her face.
She stared thinking about the conversation she had with Diego the night before at the campfire. I can't believe that we lost touch for four years. She thought to herself, mentally kicking herself and wondering if Rene was feeling the same way she was, and also whether Justin and Diego were mad at the two or not.
Suddenly Rene walked into the bathroom, turning to Tara to ask her something. "Tara, do you think the boys–" Suddenly she burst out laughing, wrapping her arms around her stomach and leaning against the door frame.
Tara turned around. "What? I'm just putting moisturizer." She said, confused. Rene shook her head as she continued laughing.
"Oh, love, that's not moisturizer."
"What?" Tara whipped around and looked at herself in the mirror. Rene was right, it wasn't moisturizer. It was toothpaste. All of the laughter pent up inside of Tara finally bubbled out of her, and soon she was laughing on the bathroom floor with her best friend.
Lol
"WHERE. IS. MY. TOOTHPASTE?" Allie shouted as she frantically searched the bathroom cupboards for it.
Carly popped her head in. "You know there is other toothpaste, right? I've got one, Sam has one, and mom and dad have one…"
"Yeah, but I need my toothpaste! I can't– I don't like sharing toothpaste with people…" Allie trailed off, exasperated.
"Whatever," Carly shrugged. "You know where to find mine if you…" She looked up, then pointed to the ceiling. "Is that it?" Sure enough, a tube was hanging down by a string, just out of sight. Allie frowned. "SAM, I'M GOING TO GET YOU FOR THIS!"
That's hilarious
Thanks, lol.
lol that was great
IWho wants to do a prompt?
