It means little girl in English (and Spanish), however in Russian it means "favor" or "grace", or "full of favor". An alternative to the name Nina is Anne (Ann, Annie) and they are interchangeable. They mean the same thing.

I probs needed to rephrase 😂 the English took from Spanish and Niña turned into Nina. What can ya do. I’m more comfortable with Scots Gaelic than anything 😂
