War between the Dawnwing Organization and Duskwing Syndicate, the latter of whom were aided by the Rogues and the former by the Survivors and Five Fallen

Eirene forsees the rise of the Duskwing Syndicate, prompting her to call the other Guardians together and to order then to seek out Champions.

The Rogues side with the Duskwing Syndicate and attack the Tree of Life, leading to a global war. Turin, Brysenne, Jhin, Fukashi, and Nagi – who were sent to protect the Tree of Life, are forced to mercy kill their Champions before being confronted by Ashika and Uriah.

Led by Eirene, the remaining Guardians manage to defeat the Duskwing Syndicate and Rogues, with the latter being imprisoned for their crimes. The Guardians sent to protect the Tree of Life fall into hibernation, becoming known alongside their Champions as the Five Fallen. The Dawnwing Organization is also formed to combat the rising threat of Ash Blight Syndrome, the Duskwing Syndicate, and Aberrants.
