She has a tattoo above her heart in fancy lettering that says, “I am my beloved’s” with the date of her marriage beneath it. Her wife has a matching tattoo above her heart also.
She has a habit of wearing lab coats often, and very much liked her role as 'Zeh Doctor'. She did not like the Cult of Bane's beliefs entirely, but she adored the uniform and wore a modified version of it quite often.
Luvia Bloodmare is an intimidating woman that normally sports what's now referred to as "resting bitch face". She has long black hair and eyes that are the color of blood. Her eye color, however, can appear different to various people except for mages and other vampires - who will always see them as red. As traditional of her species, Luvia has pale white skin, and has an athletic build.
As a note, Luvia and her mother have a very... Unique accent. They will never pronounce a 'w', and instead, make a 'v' sound. Some words, such as "yes" are in another language. For "yes", they say "ja" (German word for yes). Other words are in different languages, some of which seem to be in dead language like Pictish.
Lady Luvia is a sadistic creature, and known for the torture and mutations of many, MANY creatures. She loves knowledge, and likes finding and exploring new things, and especially loves taking rare species as her pets. For her, one can never have too many pets. She loves impalement and torture, to the point of fetishism. While her sadism is more apparent, there is a level of masochism in there as well.
She particularly lives living swingsets, people impale with a chain that she puts up and swings on like a child. She also has a deep fetish for tendrils, and loves watching others being taken advantage of by such things.
Blood is everything to Luvia, specifically the blood of young maidens; she believed it is the fountain of youth even when she was human. In her later years, she was known as the Countess, Elizabeth Bathory. Being imprisoned kept her from her work. When she finally had enough of it, she faked her own death. Her mother dug up the grave, pulling Luvia from the coffin. Together they stuffed another corpse in the casket and buried it, allowing them both to move on to change their identities once again.
She does have a soft side, particularly for her wife, Akasha, and their children, and is shown to be very caring for her family. Likewise, she has shown to grow very attached to some of her favorite pets, like Cibella. For Akasha though, she can often grow jealous, especially of Sophia who has earned a level of Akasha's love that greatly annoyed her, but she dealt with it for her woman... and compensated for it by occasionally tormenting the poor vampire. Sophia's murder by Akasha's hands was a welcome surprise. Luvia had never felt more loved.
Luvia is an ancient vampire and as such, has a powerful, foreboding presence that is nearly impossible to hide. Simply being in an area makes other powerful people gravitate towards her, normally to bend the knee either for protection or to be spared. Sometimes this includes business prospects. Although Luvia likes large cities so that she can blend in better, her duties as a wife and as a Shadow Knight often pull her in different directions.
Creation of Monsters - Through the magic of the Amulet of Chaos, Luvia is able to reanimate organic matter, warp organic matter and so on. Luvia uses the amulet for her experiments on living, or dead, organisms - including animals and people. Experiments often include augmentation and can result in monstrous mutations.
Some of her favorite "children" are creatures made from flesh. In order to both feed her experiments and gain materials for new experiments, some of the Reine are tasked with gathering corpses and bringing them to Luvia's lab.
Luvia can be extremely jealous and violent when her wife pines for other women. She has done many petty things in the past, both to Sophia and Aerallis, because of Akasha’s favoritism of them going, in her opinion, too far.
Like her mother, Luvia's primary motivation is knowledge, research and creating things - be they creatures, drugs or whatever - to further her own research/experiments, for the purposes of her Messiah or her wife's goals. As long as she's able to work in her lab and create monsters, among other things, she's happy.
Luvia excels in all scientific areas.

Lady Luvia was the first child Lillian Bloodmare ever allowed herself to have, and was essentially a very personal experiment for the woman. While in the womb, she was mutated to be what Lillian considered the perfect child. She was an utter success, and was raised by Lillian as her soul heir. But unfortunately, Luvia was born as a human - not a mage. The supernatural trait had skipped her. She was born in Mesopotamia.
She showed herself to take after her mother, very curious and eager to learn and study, and most of all, experiment. Much was expected of her, and she met every challenge. Lillian fed her daughter potions to strengthen her immune system and ward against disease, and it worked for a time.
Before the fall of Babylon, the Bloodmare women met a demon named Shago. They followed her to the creation of a secret kingdom, the Shadow Empire.
After the formation of the Knights, she proved a valuable asset to the Knights, being wickedly clever. While Lillian would remain the top mind of their evolving technology, Luvia kept a solid second place.
When the nazi regime started to become a point of interest for the Empress, Luvia was sent to study under cover as the lead scientist of the Cult of Bane, going under the title of 'Zeh Doctor'. Her missions were to study unique abilities, the various races and experiment with new drugs and chemical breakthroughs, and the creation of a new army of monstrous undead and mutants made from the corpses of children killed in the death camps of the cult.
While there, she met Officer Akasha, a mage of the camp who was desperate to save her son. With interesting files from her predecessor on the son, she decided to get closer to Officer Akasha, and that closeness quickly grew into something more. The two became lovers, at first in secret, but as the leader of the cult came to realize who Luvia really was, she began to become more open with the relationship, without fear of the homophobic nature of the cult.
As time went on, Lady Luvia's pets grew in number, with wonderful discoveries like Cibella the White Weretiger, and she slowly brought Akasha closer and closer to her way of life. By the time Ma'luum had outlived its usefulness, Luvia returned home with her lover training to become a Knight herself, with a new family of children who loved her, and a slew of research and pets to show off.
The two married shortly after, and Akasha and her children finally joined the Bloodmare family.
Since then, Luvia has moved with her family to Los Angeles, then to Kiri, FL - where the base of their operations remain. Akasha took a few of her reine to Snow Haven following the trail of Ilosti Tithiros, taking Kaelene and Fallon with her. The decision left her more than a little sour.
Akasha recently called her wife to complain that she wasn't able to sleep without her and Luvia, unable to tell her lover no, hopped on a plane with High Priestess Reinare and her mother Lillian to Snow Haven. She left Vilette in charge. But she isn't thrilled about the new location. Snow Haven is a small place, a place she knows that she'll stick out like a sore thumb.

Luvia is the only daughter of Lillian Bloodmare. They are the last remaining members of the old Bloodmare (pronounced as 'blood-mire') family. The Bloodmare house has since expanded with the addition of Akasha and her and Luvia's adopted daughters. Although her beloved Akasha created the Reine faith, Luvia does not consider her wife's subjects to be part of their family. Rather, she sees the Reine as servants and playthings to do with as they see fit.
She and her wife have their own playthings, be it separately or together, but these are merely pets that they've adopted for one reason or another. These pets do not interfere with their relationship… Or at least, they weren’t supposed to. Akasha’s relationships with Sophia and Aerallis seemed to push this line until Luvia put her foot down. At least she knows that her wife will choose her every time. The murder of Sophia, Akasha's former girlfriend, proves this.
Luvia loves and adores all of her adopted children as if they were her own, but her relationship with Fallon is… Strained. Although she does love Fallon and knows that she’s a callous child that has developed into a killer, her wife’s pining over a dead mage has a tendency to make the vampire jealous and angry. As Fallon grew, so too did her likeness to her mother, Aerallis - which only seemed to make Akasha’s pining worse. Luvia thought that once Aera died that it would finally stop. Instead, it’s only seemed to make her wife more obsessive and determined to finish the game she started. Thus, when Luvia enters her jealous rages, her only outlet… Is to take it out on Fallon in any way she sees fit. Akasha is not aware of this.
However, the monstrosities that she creates... Luvia considers them as her children, and sometimes may treat them as such.
Luvia's true loyalties lie solely with her mother and someone known only as the Empress.
Luva and other fleshlings
When the kids were little, they called her "Mommy Luvi". Now that they're older, the girls just call her "mommy" - reserving the title of "mom" for their birth mothers. They call Akasha "mama".
