@Oakiin
(aahh perfect timing xDD See you tomorrow or whenever! ^^)
Baå let the angel board the bus before him, then took a window seat near the front, mulling over what he'd just learned.

Baå let the angel board the bus before him, then took a window seat near the front, mulling over what he'd just learned.
(XD see you!)
Cael sat down in a seat in the middle, running a hand through his hair. He hoped he wasn't running too late for his morning work. His day job, the one that paid better.
Baå closed his eyes and tried to sleep. He would ride the bus as fa as he could to get a good rest. It was one of the few spots he'd found he could sleep safely.
(Do you want to do another small time skip to when Cael's in trouble, and Baå finds out about it?)
(sure! Want me to handle that, or do you want to?)
(Go ahead if you want to! ^^ It might set the scene a little better :D I don't know if I can reply again tonight, I'm going to be super busy, but if not, I'll be on tomorrow again ^^)
(kk cool. Alright! No problem!)
Cael was onstage, singing. He was nearly done with his set, and also almost shaking with the knowledge of what would happen when he was done. He got off, and looked over at the manager and owner of the place, who was talking with another man who was unabashedly staring at him. He swallowed, shaking and shuddering a little. Oh, God.
Baå didn't know what he was doing at a club. He didn't really care about anything it could have to offer, but he'd still gone in, and was now staring around with narrowed eyes, trying to figure out why something seemed off.
Cael spotted Baå, and swallowed again. He closed his eyes for a moment when he saw the manager and the man coming over. He didn't want this. He didn't want this to happen.
Baå's gaze fell on Cael, and shock spread across his face at the sight of the angel here, looking so uncomfortable. Without thinking he called out and started forward.
"Hey! Cael?"
(I gtg to bed now. Good night!)
Cael jumped, turning to look at Baå with wide, rather frightened eyes. "Baå?" He frowned a little bit. The manager was still on his way over.
(I think we must be on the exact same schedule xDD We keep having to leave at the same times xD)
Baå faltered to a halt, confusion written across his face.
"Are…You okay? What are you doing here?"
(lmaoo I live in the Midwest. You?)
"I…work here." He said slowly. He didn't answer the first question, biting his lip and clasping his upper arms with his hands. The small angel male looked… almost frightened, though not of Baå.
(Same! Nebraska for me, you? If you're comfortable sharing ^^ If not, all good :)
"Oh…okay." Baå took a hesitant step back. "I…I can leave, if you want me to?" The angel looked so unhappy, and Baå automatically assumed it was because he was here.
(o.O i…am also in Nebraska. Wtf XD)
Cael bit his lip, looking around. He spotted his manager coming closer, a man in tow, and started to tremble a little bit. He shook his head quickly, stepping closer to Baå and almost hiding behind him. "N-no, don't." He said softly. I'd rather be with a demon than those men right now.
(Wait…seriously?? xDD What if we're like next door neighbors or smth (Doubt it though xD))
(Also, sorry, I won't have time to rp tonight, and possibly tomorrow, we'll have to see TwT I'll keep ou updated!)
(yeah haha XD my neighbors are all old, so I doubt it (unless you're secretly in your 60's lmao)
(I don't have time either bc I'm about to get off haha. Alright!)
(So sorry I was gone for longer than anticipated! Working weekends sucks x.x)
(Probably not then lol xD I'm still in the ripe ol' teens xD Are you on the left half or right? ^^)
Baå was genuinely concerned now, his past anger at the angel lost.
"Come with me," he urged, moving back towards the door. "Let's get out of here."
(it's alright!)
(Haha lol. Uh…idk lol, I only moved here a few months. Omaha, so whatever side that is lmao)
Cael swalllowed. "I-I can't leave." He said softly. "I…" He looked at the manager for a moment, then at Baå, worried and frightened.
(Gahhh here I am late again, thanks for being patient <3)
(Ahhh. I'm from Kearney right in the middle xD I realize in hindsight that right and left were not the best directional words to use xDD)
Baå blinked in confusion. "What do you mean?" he asked, stepping closer to the angel. "Why not? You're clearly uncomfortable, lets just go!"
He tried to figure out what Cael was looking at, but couldn't pick out anyone special from the crowd. "What, do you work here or something?" he asked, trying to make a joke out of it, hoping to help calm the angel down.
(it's okay!)
(Ahh alright lol)
Cael closed his eyes for a moment, and nodded. "I work here." He echoed softly, running a trembling hand through his hair and half hiding behind Baå.
(ty! <3)
"You-wha-oh."
It took Baå a minute to gather his thoughts enough to think of a new plan of attack. He blinked in confusion, tring to process what he'd just been told.
"You could run away," he urged. "You clearly hate it here. What even are they making you do?"
(np!)
Cael closed his eyes tightly, taking a deep breath. "They…" He shuddered slightly. "I…" He didn't want to admit what they did to him.
"Come on," Baå said more firmly. "You don't have to talk about it, but let's just get the hell out of here. You're giving me the creeps."
He reached out and tugged on Cael's arm, and instantly his band gave a bright glow, visible even under his gloves. Baå binked at it for a second, then looked back up at Cael.
Cael's band glowed too, bright and brilliant, a rainbow of color blooming to life on his finger.
The manager finally made it over, a tall man behind him. "Tornfeather. Where are you going? You've still got work for tonight, you know."
Cael's throat closed up, and he reached over, blindly grabbing at Baå's arm fearfully.
Baå narrowed his eyes at the manager, stepping forward and blocking the way to Cael. "Who are you?" he snapped. "Whos Tornfeather?"
