(No problem :))
Amelia flipped him the finger, for making fun of her height. She thought there was nothing wrong with her height, she could probably do with another inch or two, to give her that model look, but she looked well enough at what she was at.
"Yes, seriously. You should really look in the mirror." Amelia shook her head at him. She bent at the hips, her backside towards him, as she grabbed her towel and things. She pulled on a swimsuit cover. "Come on. The dinner bell rang. If we tale too long, all the good seats will be taken."
"Alright alright I get it, your not short." He totally didn't wink when he said that, still teasing her lightly about it. He didn't have many short jokes left though if he had more he would be using them.
He rolled his eyes, "I doubt it, but hey, if the great descendent of aphrodite says so then I'm sure it must be true."
He spoke in a mostly mockingly tone as he walked out of the water and over to grab his towel, he moved to shake it free of sand before using it to dry off his hair.
He grabbed his shirt and pulled it on, though since he's still wet it just showed his defined chest.
He put the towel around his neck as he moved to walk towards the dinning hall.
"And who's fault is that?"
“Not too bad myself,” Ash bleated, grabbing a napkin and beginning to nibble on it. Dove, meanwhile, watched Wendi carefully, her eyes slightly wary despite her smile. Then she seemed to relax.
“Just tired, honestly,” she chuckled. “Just tired.”
“Yeah, she was training all afternoon,” Ash remarked, and he rubbed her back. Dove sighed appreciatively before telling her cup to fill with sweet tea and grabbing a few food items to put on her plate.Wendi felt her smile grow on her face. She was glad Dove seemed to be relaxed after Wendi made the initial response. Wendi reached out as well and began to put a bit of food on her plate. She wasn't super hungry at the moment but it felt wrong to not eat in the dining pavilion. She nodded along to Ash's comments, "What, what were you working on Dove?"
“Just some basic training exercises at first, and then archery practice. A couple of the other Apollo kids had decided to do these archery duels, I guess.” Dove shook her head and chuckled. “They kind of forced me into it, said the exercise would help with emotional regulation? I just feel lucky that I didn’t get an arrow in me.”
"I mean, being shot at would help you regulate your fear I guess," Wendi let out a quiet laugh with Dove as Wendi heard about Dove's experience. She was glad that after she had upset Dove the other managed to have an okay day, "And if one of your siblings, the children of Apollo, shot an arrow into you. I would have to have some words with them."
Aviv hovered just outside the pavilion entrance, wary of going inside. They were hungry, but not really interested in eating with the Greeks. Usually, he would just take some food for himself and leave, and let Noah decide if he wanted to come with them or try eating with the Hypnos kids.
He just adjusted their glasses, still nervous to enter. They didn’t realize that Amelia and Wynn were approaching the pavilion.
Amelia scoffed. "You're the one that's holding us up. If we have to sit with some weirdos I'm teaming up with Hermes campers to curse your wardrobe sp that whatever you put on always turns pink."
She didn't have to wait for him. Actually, there was no reason for her to wait for him. They weren't friends. They didn't even like each other. She could've left the moment the bell sounded for dinner. Yet here she was, waiting for him to hurry up. She put her hand on her hip, cocking it to the side. While waiting for him to dry, she took the time to subtly check him out. Or at least she tried to be subtle. She was normally really good at this subtly, flippant life. But anytime Wynn was involved, he always got her all worked up and flustered.
(hey, just wanted to apologize for just disappearing. I've been busy with school and with family business. I'll try to put up a response later today, or early in the morning.)
(You're fine. I totally understand)
“I would too,” Ash nodded.
Dove smiled. “I expect no less from you two. Although, if I did get shot, I’m pretty sure it would be because I was being stupid, not because my siblings were trying to shoot me.”
He rolled his eyes,
"Nobody said you had to wait for me." He his arms as he looked at her as they were walking towards the dinning hall.
He did infact notice her checking him out earlier and frankly, it was a welcome surprise. Though he doubted he would ever win her over with just Looks, not exactly like he wanted too.
Just a passing thought.
She was beautiful, but he wasn't shallow to just go for Looks.
"Also don't you dare make all my closest pink, it would be too attractive and you wouldn't be able to look away." He joked, playing on how she said he was attractive.
Amelia stuck her tongue out at him and shoved her shoulder into him, as if that would do any damage.
Once they crossed over from the sand, she paused for a moment, using Wynns shoulder to keep her upright as she slipped her shoes back on. She righted herself after both shoes were on and continued walking to the mess hall.
"Hmm, you are right. I think you could pull off punk very well. Though, I do see you getting teased mercilessly from your siblings. I don't think many of them do pink." She giggled. "Besides, I might just put pink hair dye in your shampoo. Or I'll dump bottles of glitter all of your things and you'll still be finding glitter years later."
“I would too,” Ash nodded.
Dove smiled. “I expect no less from you two. Although, if I did get shot, I’m pretty sure it would be because I was being stupid, not because my siblings were trying to shoot me.”
"Doesn't matter, I'm still going to trap them in their worst nightmares," Wendi responded with a shrug. It wouldn't be for long, just enough to give them a scare so they wouldn't hurt her friend again.
Nicolas narrowed his eyes as two twins sat at his table. Sure it was the only table where he was the only one sitting at, but there were other tables the twins could have sat at. He pursed his lips and lowered his head to his food, trying to block out the sounds of twins. It was a bit hard, with their loud bickering. It confused him why anyone would want to dye their hair pink. It was such an obnoxious color. He stabbed his fork aggressively against his plate, as the two twins continued to irritate him. He had given up all notions of subtly and opted for full-on glaring at the two.
Cole huffed at Markus and turned to see Nicolas glaring. He smiled "hello,". Markus also saw Nicolas, and facepalmed at his brothers cheerfulness. The guy was straight up glaring at them, and Cole was smiling and trying to start conversation. He was probably annoyed by Coles loud obnoxious voice, at least that's what Markus figured. He himself was rather soft spoken, and had only ever raised his voice very few times in his lfe. Cole went back to talking, " sorry about my twin being a stick in the mud, honestly he should try listening to me instead of the air his headphones bring. He only wears them so people will leave him alone".
“Well, alright then,” she shrugged nervously. “Guess I’ll have to warn them then.”
Once she as satisfied with the food on her plate, Dove got up and went to sacrifice some of it into the pyre in the middle of the pavilion, for the gods. When she was done, she came back and began eating.
Nicolas didn't greet either of them, just stared at them with a deadpanned expression. "Well your brother seems to have the right idea. Perhaps you should follow suit. Not everyone wants to listen to obnoxious voices." He leaned back in his seat, arms crossed. He moved his right arm to pick at his dinner. His appetite had pretty much disappeared. It pretty much came and go. If he didn't eat right when his appetite hit, the moment it went away he wouldn't eat another bite.

Eden and her siblings were some of the campers who had arrived at the dining pavillion later than the others. Cabin 12 had been weighing the cons and pros for certain cabins for the upcoming tournament and they were still currently arguing over which Cabins they should team up with. They did the normal routine of sacrificing some of their food to the gods and they all sat down.
"So, who's gonna ask Cabin 11 if they wanna team up?"
"I thought one of us was gonna ask to team up with the Ares' kids?" somebody asked.
"Yeah, but who says we can't team up with the both of them?" Eden replied as she played around with her beverage.
"Good point."

He chuckled, stumbling and pretending like the shove had actually made him stumble and almost fall over before he righted himself back up.
He let her use him as something to hold onto when she was putting her shoes on, making sure she was stable and not going to fall over for whatever reason.
He wasn't that much of a jerk.
"Yeah, would not look forward to that at all. Then again, they would probably be jealous of the amount of style I have."
He joked once again, as he would die if his wardrobe turned pink along with his hair.
"Oh nooo glittery. My worst nemesis.' He joked once again, smirking at her.

Noah held his blanket around himself, rubbing his eyes as he walked into the dinning hall, he grabbed Avivs hand and moved to pull him inside and over towards the food area as he didn't want to do it alone even though he was 12 years old he still felt nervous every time he did it.
(let's pretend their previous interaction never happened)
"Well, I suppose I can ask them if no one else is going to do it," Eden said as she stood up from the table.
"Good luck," one of her siblings said and she rolled her eyes. If they said no, it wouldn't be the end of the world. Sometimes they really were dramatic. Eden walked over to where Adin was sitting with the rest of his siblings. "I'm Eden and I hope I'm not interrupting anything. But the rest of my cabin was wondering if you and the rest of your cabin wanted to team up with us for the tournament?"
(Hey @yellowqueen , long time no see! Is this still open to join, and if so, may I? As long as no one minds me jumping in?)
(Hey @yellowqueen , long time no see! Is this still open to join, and if so, may I? As long as no one minds me jumping in?)
(Yes this is still open. Good to see you again.)
(Alright! Am I allowed to join, then?)
(Yes. Feel free to make a form.)
(Great, thanks!)
(I have read the rules and the OG post, and have skimmed through the rest of the pages. Before I work on a form, is there anything I should avoid? (beyond obviously not having too grimdark of a backstory, etc))
(Not at all. There kids and teenagers. As long as your character behaves as such you're all set)

Wendi decided to follow Dove to sacrifice some of her food so that hopefully the rest of the week would go better for her. She sat back down and then went to ask Dove, "Do you know which team the Apollo cabin is on?"

“Um— niño—“ Aviv’s eyes widened in surprise. He didn’t want to go into the pavilion at all, frankly, but it seemed he had no choice. And, well, there was food. They adjusted their glasses and tried his best to look small and unnoticeable. Then he remembered he could turn invisible, and did just that.

( :D hello again!)
