This is why Nicolas steered clear of people. They didn't make sense to him. He threw up his hands in exasperation. He stepped to the side. "It's okay to need help. It doesn't make you weak."

"I never said I don't need help, I just don't like using the cane." He shrugged. "Now, this is about as much social interaction as I like for a week… So I am going to find my way back to my cabin" he said quietly.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

"Be my guest, I'm not sitting in your way this time." Nick made sure he was out of range if the boy decided to run him over again. "Try not to run into anything on the way." Nicolas never claimed to be a nice guy, nor would he.

"I make no promises. " he shrugged, slowly walking away. Ezra sighed, he normally would not have been as rude, but he could tell the other guy was not in the greatest mood.

“Never.” They wrapped their arms around him, keeping him snug and safe. “We’ll stay here as long as you need to.”
Quietly, he sighed, thinking back to only a few years ago, when they were together under Jaci Jaterê’s roof. This felt the same, yet so different.

He exhaled shakily, taking a few moments just to steady his breathing and his fast beating heart.
"Thank you.." He spoke out softly, having managed to calm down after a few moments. He rubbed his face before moving to look up at Aviv.
"What were you doing in the forest…?"

Amelia scoffed. Her eyes narrowed in furry. Like the other Aphrodite kids? No way. Each and every one of her siblings was beautiful in there own way. It wasn't right to compare them. Especially when Amelia was the prettiest out if all of them. "And yet here you are, stalking me, and not any of the other ones."
She stepped closer to him, reaching her hand out as if to touch him. "If you say so. Let me know when you're done hiding. You could use a haircut. Or a different hair style. Just stop off at my cabin and I'll see it done." Amelia dropped her hand and stepped back. She wouldn't force him to do something he didn't want too.

"Stalking you? Now who's twisting words, I didn't stalk you. You just happened to be here when I got here which I was fully planning on coming here without you being here. Also don't act like you weren't gawking at me either earlier." He spoke as she came closer to him. He moved away from her hand, before she moved it back to her side stepping back.
He exhaled as he moved back to standing up straight.
"Yeah no, maybe within the next 30 winters."

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Amelia smirked at him. She liked that she was getting him all riled up. She had an affect on him. She craned her neck uo as he stood even more. Sometimes she forgot just how tall he was. Most of their banter happened at least at a small distance. Her near five foor five was no where close to his height. She didn't even come up to his chin.
"Of course I was gawking at you hon, you have a beautiful body. Someone has to appreciate it and ut certainly isn't you, letting your beauty go to waste by shutting yourself in the forge all the time." And she took another step towards him, continuing this dance the two of them had. Her neck was straining to look at him but wouldn't back down.
"And you never know," she shrugged her shoulder, "You might find yourself in my cabin. Whether it be for a new wardrobe or a haircut, or a girl, or boy, if you swing that way. You've caught the eye a few, you're just too oblivious to notice."

He just let out a snicker as he gave her head a gentle pat pat.
"Shortie." He moved to crouch down so he was on the same level as her grinning his smug little grin he did from time to time. He knew this would get a reaction out of her as it usually did.
He them tilted his head, "really? Who?" He was curious who would crush on him because he didn't think himself that good looking.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Amelia narrowed her eyes, glaring at him. She smacked his hand away from her, while secretly finding it endearing. Not that she would ever mention that. "I'm not short. I'll have you know I'm average height for a woman. It's you who's unnaturally tall." She stuck her tongue out at him.
"Oh please," She snorted, "Just about anyone with eyes can see that you're attractive. The fact that I have to listen to more than just a couple of my siblings going on about at you night gets a little boring and repetitive. Don't ask so modest."

Aviv rubbed the back of Noah’s head and sighed. “Oh, you saw me? Well. You know. I’m not exactly welcome. Plus… the forest, it reminds me of—“ he was about to say back then, with Jaci Jaterê, but he couldn’t. The little boy wouldn’t understand.
“It reminds me of home, I suppose.” It was partially true. Jaci’s small cottage had been as much of a home as his house with his family. Camp Half-blood, however, not so much.

The dinner bell rang as the sun began to set. Children began to slowly file in. The Apollo campers were chattering about the performance they were putting on at the Amphitheater after dinner. Ares and Athena campers were both strategizing about how to win the capture the flag tournament while simultaneously, glaring at the other cabin. Each cabin was always placed on opposite sides, to make the game fair. No one would win against them if those two were on the same team. It would be the only time the cabins would stop fighting if only to win the game. They took camp games a bit too seriously. The Hermes children were discussing their next pranks. Most of the Hephaestus children were nowhere to be seen, many of them working through meal times. Though they would always sneak in food after hours. Aphrodite campers were talking about a certain sibling of theirs that was missing, last seen on the beach with a certain Hephaestus camper. They were discussing bets among themselves about how long it would take for them to become a couple, not that they would let either of them know they were betting on them.
Chiron had long stopped enforcing for campers to sit at their designated tables. Since expanding the camp to all children of the gods, not just the main twelve gods, it had become too crowded and too much of a hassle to attempt to keep them separated. Even with the camp thinning out due to school starting, it wouldn't be fair to try to enforce the rule. So campers sat among themselves, gossiping and talking about whoever they wished. Chiron and Dionysus sat at the head of the mess, watching over the children, and the god of wine missing his wine, as he sipped on his goblet on juiced.

Wendi heard the dinner bells chiming in the distance and let her form be cloaked by the Mist as she made her way to the dining pavilion. She only dropped the Mist once she arrived there and took her seat at one of the furthest tables typically occupied by her and Dove along with a few other campers they knew well enough. Wendi kept an eye out for Dove hoping the other still planned to sit with her. She wanted to apologize for being rude to Dove earilier.
